Royal Stouffville Golf Course - Executive Course

Was in the neighborhood with some friends who are beginner golfers and found this course. Had a great, quick round. Signage to find the course isn't great (basically check in at the clubhouse, then go and drive south down a maintenance path to get to the parking lots at the executive course). There was no one there to check on us, and it was very relaxing. Got to play at our own pace (took us 1.5 hours to finish 9) and was not hassling anyone infront or behind us. Tee boxes sometimes were in poor shape (there were usually two sets of tee locations, we played from the longer boxes for the full round, but the closer boxes were in better shape). Greens were in good shape, mostly flat. Some of the fairways were fairly narrow, which (as well as some water) added some difficulty. Not at all a fancy course, but sometimes you just need a casual round to have some fun.

It was my first time playing this course and I had an absolute blast. It’s a short course so it gave me plenty of practice with my irons. The layout was a bit confusing when finding the first tee box and when going from the green of hole 6 to the tee box on hole 7. The fairways were super well maintained and the greens were what you’d expect for the Monday of a long weekend. I was able to get through it in just over an hour. I’ll definitely be returning for some after work rounds

Played there many time. Have the worst mosquito attack this week. They bit hard even though we have insect spray. Water around th pound were also smell bad. Time for a big clean up.
