The 500 Club

Great track, wonderful lay out, and friendly staff all committed to the mission and experience.

I'll start by saying... in general, if you are over say 50 and played nice courses & county clubs your entire life, you will most probably not like this place (at all). If you are younger, and new to the game, and like going to amusement parks, you will love the place. The course layout was never great, even during prior ownership, and yes the conditions now are much improved... but it's still just a so so lay-out.

The focus here now is on entertainment not traditional golf. But then again the world is changing. It's obvious ownership here now is focused on income more than traditional golf and club memberships. It was worth the drive to spend a half day here but the environment & vibe is just not my cup of tee.

Was very excited to try the 500 after all the social media on my feeds. Overall not bad but could be great.

1st why no water stations anywhere in this heat? No cart or bar service was available. No snacks or lunch available. I didn’t get it. Asked starter for some tips and was told to him them straight and play fast. Really. Oh well I can see what’s lacking and hopefully it gets better. The putt putt abd clubhouse seems nice overall and the course itself is not bad at all. The carts were a plus. I’d give it another chance.

Haven’t played here in over 5 years…they have done a ton of work to this course and feel like by the time they get done with it, might be my favorite course in the greater Charlotte area!!!

Course is under going a huge upgrade with driving range and putting greens indoor simulators. Very impressive wish the price was a little cheaper but with the upgrades it will be worth it…

Greens are Great fairways are good! Going to be even better in summer! There food is insanely good for a golf course!

Rather than travel 2 hours to the mountains or 3 to the beach, play 500. It has 6 holes of each to enjoy. Bring extra golf balls just in case. Great condition but greens are still firm after their replacement a few years ago.

All around, lovely course to play! Some pretty tricky shots and holes, but had a blast. Course was in excellent condition and staff was super friendly. Can’t wait to play here again!

This course is well maintained and the greens are emaculate. The course is hard but you can still play and have a great time.

First time back here after changing owners. Clubhouse, proshop and putting green is redone. Practice shed for warmup. Fairways and greens are excellent. Water is provided in cart. Rack rate is pricey, so look for hot deals or discounts.

Teed off at 4:10 with 3 of my friends and had a great time. Course was great and the restaurant there is great. Was glad to get all 18 hikes in before carts had to go in.

Also loved the small touches of nascar theming as well.

Played really difficult in the baking sun of July. Greens were hard, bouncy and super fast / slippery. My score was terrible but the course was beautiful with amazing staff
