Course in very good condition!!
GREAT staff !! GREAT food !! Course in very good condition for as wet as it’s been!! Greens very fast!!
This is a really nice course, friendly, accommodating staff. The course is a unique layout. Fairways were a little bare here and there. Good pace.
Olde Dutch Mill
The course may have been wetter than a submarine's propeller, but it still holds up as a great track. Perfect sunny weather and a great clubhouse experience. Nothing like ODM.
Olde Dutch Mill or "ODM" is always a treat to play. The greens and tee boxes were pristine, especially for early April. The layout includes some of the most unique holes around. Some of these par threes are so beautiful they will have you crying like a seventh-grade girl. Lost a couple of balls in da river, but as they say "The Mahoning giveth and the Mahoning taketh away." Besides the random trucks driving all around the course thinking that they were at a demo derby, it was a perfect round.
Not too bad
Course is priced pretty well for what you get. That’s not really any fairway, it’s basically all rough. I personally love the course layout though, so that’s why I go back. The bald eagle always comes out and is cool to see. Bugs were very bad though.
If not for a rainy Saturday morning and downloading the golf now app I never would have found this course and man am I glad I did!!! Booked a tee time on GN APP late Friday night only to have unexpected storms roll in, thing Saturday morning, and they were more than happy to accommodate, pushing our teatime back an hour to allow the course time to dry. They were very honest about conditions, and I couldn’t have asked for more. I had originally booked a twosome, which I changed to a foursome when they change the teatime for me. After playing the front nine it started to rain and we ducked into the restaurant and had an unexpectedly delicious lunch. Two of us decided we had had such a good time on the front. We wanted to go ahead and make the turn and play 18 and they were more than happy to accommodate us despite being fairly busy. They squeezed us onto the back nine and let us finish out our round of 18 after lunch, overall I can’t say enough good things about this course and their staff greens were in excellent shape. The overall course was a value for the price in my opinion food and drinks in the restaurant were reasonably priced and delicious. Will definitely be back again soon.
I had the first tee time and checked in 10 minutes early. The course let two different groups with different tee times go in front of me and we were bunched together.
Kind of disorganized.
Challenging but fair
Lots and lots and lots of trees stand in your way.
Fairways are decent, greens roll good. Course is in nice shape and carts are newer.
Staff is unbelievably friendly. The man who checked my group in was very welcoming, the lady who rang out my drinks was quick and nice, and the starter was cool.
A little expensive, but the staff made the price worth it.
This is where I play most of my rounds throughout the summer and the friendly atmosphere is consistent on every visit.
Only con is that some patches were as hard as concrete, but it didn’t rain much in the area for the past month so I give them the benefit of the doubt.
You get what you pay for
Overall, for what you pay you cant complain. My big complaint would be that there is no such thing as a fairway at this course, it’s just rough/ shirt rough. Bugs were very bad when I went, but you’re by the lake so you can’t help it. Pace of play was 4 1/2 hrs when me and my buddy play in 3 hours on a normal day. Nobody would let us through. Course was wet, but it is spring time and it isn’t cart path only!
Layout is nice, and overall experience was enjoyable. I will play again.
