Greens need a lot of care
The greens were rolled on Wednesday, May 24th, and there is a lot of sand and sod on them. Hopefully, they will improve over the summer.
Great layout
I play here at least twice each time I come to town to visit my daughter. I like the course, 1 because it's close to her, 2 because I can get out as a single and with the exception of a couple of times been paired with some really fun and nice people. It was a little rough this time but I understand the harsh winter can cause problems. I think greens fees should have been reduced a bit though because of the conditions..
needs work
I understand that this winter caused some damage on the courses here but to charge full price when half the greens had very little grass is ridiculous. Some of the fairways where just as bad.
Greens need a do-over!
The greens were terrible. Putting through dirt to get to the hole. On one green the entire green was gone. They need to shut down this place and get to work on this course.
Disappointed
Upon my arrival I was scolded for not having a tee time even though the course was not that busy and I got right out. Course is in very poor shape with bare spots in fairways. Greens are horrible. Most greens have about 70% grass, rest is bare. I usually play this course several times a year. It will be a long time before I return,
For $60??? Nope. Thank you
I’ve lived in MBORO and played Indian Hills over the years. I could not believe my eyes not even 3 holes in as to the condition of the course. Greens are a mess. Fairways par at best. For $60, I would rather drive another 25 min and play Pine creek or Cedar crest. Either Indian hills drops their price / warns the patron of the current course conditions , or face a drastic drop in players playing there. I’ll honestly be hesitating going back even though I’ve always enjoyed the course layout and it’s challenging yet fun holes.
We can do better Indian hills. Step it up or drop your price
No good pace, no good greens
Way over costed for dead greens.
Pace of place took 3 hrs per 9 holes.
Got potential
I understand that it is spring time and that after winter it takes a while for things to "come back", but the front nine on this course was in very bad shape (greens and fairways). Very disappointing considering the price.
