Great Course!
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Quality conditions were to be expected and absolutely delivered for the price point. The greens were well maintained and rolled smoothly. Though the price point was intimidating for a mid-high handicapper like myself, I absolutely would've felt comfortable taking a beginner with me. Nothing pretentious or self-important about this place at all. Great experience!
Nice
Peninsula golf club did not disappoint. Despite a lot of recent rain the course drained great and was in nice shape. Tee to green the course was well maintained. Price is a little steep, however.
Great layout
First time playing this course and we throughly enjoyed it. Greens were fast and in fine condition. Just over 4 hours for the round so no complaints there. Staff and clubhouse were top notch. When we visit next time we will definitely play it again.
Fun but slow
They let a fivesome go out in front of us which was a bit disappointing especially since it was an early time(8:50). Course was nice and in solid shape. Would play here again.
Golf with friends. Great course.
Really liked the course. We played Kiva Dunes today and the greens were not as good as Peninsula. Would highly recommend this course.
Excellent Course and Different
At 2 PM we couldn’t get through the third nine holes. I had issues with a Garmin watch trying to keep up with the 3 nine holes. Need to play the course again and have time for all three courses.
Beautiful Course Begets Beautiful Game
Somehow I just seem play better on a beautiful course. I feel lighter, more fluid, not weighed down by the brown fairways I have currently in my home state. Absolutely loved Peninsula and would recommend to any skill golfer. It offers many challenging opportunities. The staff were amazing, fun, upbeat, and helpful. My group were scheduled to play 18 and wait 2 hours for a member event to get started before we could play 9 more. Because of the great pace, we finished the first 18 early and the staff in the Pro Shop allowed us to go out ahead of the member event to finish the last 9 holes. All around a great course and and a great experience.
Rate Golf Course
Great golf course, with the addition to 3rd nine.
Thin Fairways and Questionable Design
Playing the Marsh/Lakes combination left much to be desired. Staff and grill were excellent. Range balls were included but natural turf section used was like hitting off the worst half in/half out bunker shot you have ever seen. Too much use and too little movement of tee area. Greens were very good as were tee boxes. Fairway turf was thin and inconsistent which made for difficult lies.
Course design was at best unique. Maybe an acquired taste, I though don’t think I could get used to it. Marsh was kind of blah and the Lakea had way too many blind shots to hidden ponds. No GPS on cart or map on scorecard.
I wanted to like it but I’ll stick with the much, much better option at Kiva Dunes.
