Course was great still wet from heavy rains but still in great shape.Greens best I’ve played all year.Better than RTJ Ridge or Valley will go back and play again.
Great greens
Greens are in great shape. Fairways are just fair due to all the rain we have had. Beautiful course payed out thru the woods with great views. Cost of $70 on a weekday seems a little high as I can play other courses closer to town for $40 on weekdays. Enjoyed the round though.
Greens are excellent
This course is great and I love the new greens. Please start posting on Golf Now when it cart path only. I was so exhausted after 9 holes I did not complete the round. If had known it was cart path only I would not have booked this course. Too long to walk.
Best course for the money
If you want to stay within an hour of birmingham, this is the best course around for the money, hands down. great friendly staff and course is in terrific condition for winter play.
Slow play
Due to frost, tee times were squeezed together and the pace of play was very slow. I paid for my son and I to play 18 holes but after a 3 hour front nine we had to leave due to my son having a basketball game later that afternoon. The course was in beautiful shape and normally it isn’t a problem to get 18 in in 4-4.5 hours.
better days
This was the first time playing Limestone Springs since they renovated their greens. As expected they were hard to hold, but they were great to putt on. Being the offseason, the course was not in the best shape, but it was better than the last time I was there a few years ago. They are clearly making an effort to return it to the great course it once was. I will definitely return, and I can't wait to see how the greens mature.
Great overall course!
First time playing this course 3/11/23. Great course conditions for early March with a light rain the day before. Greens were amazing, can’t wait to go back.
Fantastic Course
This course keeps getting better and better since the renovations. I have played it twice in the last month and even with all the rain and the course being wet it is still VERY playable and enjoyable. Greens are in excellent shape! Highly recommend to everyone, worth the drive if you are not close!
Limestone GolfCourse
Great course and staff. Would recommend it to anyone.
Must Play
Limestone is a must play course in Alabama, the greens are immaculate right now. Can’t wait to see this jewel when the spring green comes in. Fairways are lush and the layout is tough so be prepared to get after it but you’ll enjoy it immensely.
Slow pace of play
Took 3.5 hours to play 9 holes. No Marshall on duty.
