There are three championship courses at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort, all of which were designed by Pete Dye. Snow Mountain is the original course, joined by Sun Mountain, which is considered the easiest of the three, and Wolf is the newest and most challenging.

At over 7,600 yards, Wolf is also the longest course in Nevada but Snow Mountain is quite lengthy as well at 7,146 yards. Dye incorporated his signature railroad-tie bunkers and water comes into play on seven holes. This risk-reward layout is known for having the best par-3s at the resort. One of these is the stunning 16th hole with its panoramic view of Sheep Mountain. It requires a long carry over water but the bailout area to the right provides a relatively easy up and down and the greenside bunkers don't usually come into play.

Also known as Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort - Nu-Wav-Kaiv Course.

Another good Pauite outing

Despite my poor play and the difficult Snow Mountain course I still enjoyed my time at the resort.

One Picturesque Course

Snow Mountain Course one of the most picturequest courses I've ever played. The layout is very Pete Dye, I loved it probably one of his best works! The par 3's challenging but fair. The par 5's long but again fair. I feel it's important to play from the correct tees here because of the temperature variation and wind at least the day we played. Par 4's very good, you can definitely score hitting the fairway is a must with that said the fairways are generous. Greens today were lightning fast, I'm okay with fast greens they rolled true for sure. Honestly did not want the round to be over. Beverage cart had great offerings, pro shop was top of the line, very well stocked. I will visit here again next time I'm in Vagas! I heard great things about the restaurant but we did not eat. Price was very good, I've definitely paid more for a lesser golf experience. We done Paiute, Snow Mountain Course

Great Course, but Slightly Overrated

Paiute has a reputation for being one of, if not the best place to play in Vegas. The course was in good shape and we got pretty solid weather for mid-December, but nothing about the course gave me the impression that I was playing a truly elite Vegas golf course.

I've played about a dozen courses in Vegas and I'd put this one in the middle of the pack. There are plenty of places around the city where you can get equal or even better golf for significantly cheaper. Also, if you're trying to get in a quick round while it town, keep in mind that Paiute is 30-40 minutes away from the Strip.

Wind and cold

We loved the course and everything associated with it. Unfortunately we picked a very cold and windy day to play. My Birthday! My wife and I made the best of it and have committed to go back under better conditions.

Wind Swept Beauty

Played the Las Vegas Paiute Snow Mountain course on a day when the winds blew over 30 MPH. The staff was friendly and professional. The locals we played with told us that the wind blows like that 70% of the time. It was a lot of fun, even in the wind. Play 40-50 yards of wind if you're hitting right into it. No joke! The course is very fair. If you miss the forgiving fairway you will find your ball but will have to hit off of sand or rock. Tough on your irons, but fun as a new challenge. The seafood chowder in the clubhouse is great, as is the view of Snow Mountain as you are eating. The pro shop is full of great merch. Absolutely would recommend it!.

Grasshoppers Galore!!

We were a twosome and a foursome in front of us was so slow that the foursome behind us was always waiting on us to hit. The number of grasshoppers was unbelievable! They would fly right into you, hit you in the face, one went down my shirt… The wind was atrocious and you had no control over the flight of your ball. We played the WOLF course not the Snow Course because they could get us on earlier. It was your typical Links course. The golf staff and everyone else was extremely friendly and accommodating. Since we only played nine holes they gave us a refund for one golfer which I thought was extremely professional.

Golf Now wrong day

Finally got a time at Paiute after searching GolfNow for days. Unfortunately flipping back and forth through the app reset for “today”. Was about to leave for Paiute and discovered my booking was for the next day. Unfortunately prepaid. I know my fault but very unfortunate. Maybe play next year.
