Awesome golf course!
I’m visiting Orlando from the Midwest. Craig (owner of the place) has been making a lot of improvements to the course. It is constantly in the works for further developments. I literally see him working on the course. Whenever an owner is hands-on in a business, you can tell you’re in the right place! This course is not yet is tip-top shape but is certainly on its way there. Everyone at the course or at the restaurant is extremely nice! Very accommodating and friendly. I got a chance to talk to Craig a little bit . What a great owner! I’m a golf newbie. I was here 2 weeks ago for 5 days and am now back for 2 weeks to play golf. I would highly recommend this course to all the golfers out there! Great golf course and not hard on the wallet! What more can you ask for?!
Decent
Nothing to write home about, greens were super dry and ugly on the back 9. fun little layout tho. Was a group of 6 people playing which I skipped a hole to pass them. Not sure why or how that’s allowed.
Average course
Tees and fairways acceptable. Greens not, very sparse, bumpy, 25% painted dirt. Too bad they can’t water or maintain the greens, an ok neighborhood course otherwise.
Just play it!
So the front 9 greens are in really good shape. The back 9 could use some help but overall, the course is in great shape for the money. Their pace of play is perfect and the staff get you on quick without a starter most of the time.
Needs Rain
The course layout has always appealed to me, but, when the fairways are so dry, it feels like hitting into dirt. That was somewhat of an issue on the front nine, but, improved on the back. The tee blocks were nice and green and just fine. The front nine had greens that were okay and running fair, with some little leaves on them. However, the back nine showed marked winter kill, bare spots and ran with bumpy shots and just not fun. The traps has grass clumps in them here and there. Work was being done on paths and that indicated future improvement. Would play again at a later date, maybe after a good rain. The restaurant was closed until 4 pm, as per covid. Drinks were available in the pro shop.
good course for the price
Good place to play for practice. Variety of shots required. Fairways were average condition, greens were slow.
Had a good round here, greens could definitely need some care but layout of the course was fun. Not bad for the money especially if other courses are busy. Overall was a good round though.
