Wolf at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort

About
Forget everything you've heard about that gentler, kinder Pete Dye at Paiute. When you step onto the Wolf Course at the Las Vegas Paiute Resort, the legendary architect with the cold hacker heart returns. And then some. The newest of the three Paiute courses, comes in at a staggering 7,604 yards.
And it's an isolated 7,604 yards. You don't only get lost in your round here. You could almost literally get lost in the desert with a few wrong turns off the cart path. Drives that go flying off target deep into the desert areas are unlikely to found by another human ever. A rattlesnake might be keeping your Pro V1s company for the rest of their days. This is stunning scenery, capable of leaving the most cynical hacker open mouthed.
Paiute Wolf is just a far enough drive away from the Sin City hustle that it's likely the top, high-end course you can easily get on last minute in the Vegas valley. It also might be the best of them all.
Also known as Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort - Kwetoo-Unuv Course.

17th hole "island green" Paiute Wolf Course Photo submitted by RockinDoc on 10/05/2012
This is My Kind of Spa!
This golf facility deserves all the accolades. The location is a little out there in the desert but I totally understand the reason. There's nothing like golfing at an oasis, quiet and surreal.
The club house is elevated overlooking the 18th hole of their Snow Course - so nice to just sit inside and enjoy their delicious food, and every staff member from bag drop off, dining, starter and marshal are top notch friendly and accommodating.
Played the Wolf Course which is undoubtly the best of the three courses. The rating and slope speak for itself. It is a wonderfully challenging course and really puts your game to the test.
There is nothing negative I can say about this place. Worth the drive to this spa!
Amazing desert golf
Challenging and really fun. Bring all 14 of your clubs! It was breezy, 20-25mph. We had a great time. The greens were smooth and quick. Looking forward to playing here again.
Great Course- Windy Day
The course was in very good shape, but 50 degree temps with 25-30 mph wind gusts made play difficult. The front was crowded as they looked to get multiple groups off to beat darkness. The back was more enjoyable as the twosome ahead of us called it a day after nine. Great hole layout, but the wind made conditions difficult at best. Would like to return on a warm calm day.

Spectacular view of the mountain vista
And 5 1/2 star greens, and fairways and Pete dye design. This course should host a PGA tournament. Happy new year.!!!
Wind
The course was in fairly decent shape greens were challenging.
The wind and cold ruled the day several times you would put your ball on the green, and it would still move due to the wind.
Still had fun would like to play the other courses at Paiute someday.
Facility and staff were excellent.
Wolf Course
Worth the drive if you’re from out of town. Drive by it on the way to work and notice it’s green year around. Up close and personal it’s a very well kept course. Challenging but fun to play. Plan on adding this to my rotation of courses
Perfect Golf
Played all 3 courses during the US Am Tour National Tournament and the courses couldn't have been better. My opinion the Hardest is Sun, followed by Wolf, then Snow. The Greens are quick, the fairways perfect. If you spray into the desert waste area's good luck finding (or playing) your ball, so keep it in the fairway. Dis I mention the rough is LUSH and THICK? Great 19th hole restaurant. The staff is amazing as is the pro shop selection. Must play!
