Great Course conditions
River Wilds has always had decent greens and this year they are looking fantastic compared to other area courses. The overall conditions of the course is very good. No noticeable winter kill. They are working on the range so it’s closed until later in the year. Disappointing for those arriving early and expecting to warm up. The investment will make the range significantly better.
Overall, our foursome highly recommends playing here. Value was exceptional. .
Personally I feel it's unsafe
Want to start with the course is nice and the staff is great but:
2 holes your driving blind. You cant see if anyone is in the fairway or not.
In 9 holes on 4 different tee boxes golf cart gets hit with a golf ball with no warning
Parked at the 6th tee box someone pulls up and hits their ball through the tee box. (It was hard but I kept my cool but if they hit my wife or kid I would have lost it)
Again, the staff was nice and I liked the course but I can't take the risk of getting hit, especially my wife or kid, to come back again.
Nice fairways and Greens
Greens and fairways were in great Condition. Bunkers could use more sand but that’s being picky. Would definitely play again. Some strange hole layouts that make you think not terrible.
Great course conditions
Nice tee boxes, great lies in the fairway…. And true rolling greens.
This course is worth the money and the 20 min drive
Great course
Great course! Not busy, fun layout, well maintained, reasonable price.
Nothing special and they don’t seem to care
First off, the clubhouse is dirty, they need to clean the place up.
Second, I paid for range balls and they are located in a wood box outside and they were completely dirty, not cleaned at all, just dirt n mud on all of them, didn’t want to hit them. If I’m paying for something it should be provided in good condition.
Third, clean the carts. There were peanuts left from the last user (I hope it was the last user), got another cart but the brakes were rubbing, got another cart and made it through the round.
This is a low price, low level golf course for sure. No real experience by the staff and out in small town Nebraska. If you play it bring your own cleaning supplies and food. Can’t actually recommend to anyone.
Nice course
Everything was great except the other 2 were new to golf and scored 150-160 very hard to golf waiting on the greens for 10 minutes for them to reach the green
River Wilds Golf
Course is in good shape - everything is well maintained. Staff was accommodating as needed. Clubhouse is a bit outdated but still serviceable. Golf now offered a respectable deal for the tee time.
