The course and Greens were in excellent condition,
the wind made it very difficult, but didn’t spoil our round.
Had lunch which was fab, after asking the Chef to make my meal a bit more spicy.
The Staff were friendly and went out of there way to help,
The Pro in the shop was a fabulous guy who was so helpful and friendly , will certainly be back in the near future.
Great day out
Played in a 4some and not held up once or held up anyone course in great condition and was only £10 per person.. BARGAIN!!!
Clubhouse was friendly and food lovely
Excellent day out
Will be back again
Not so peaceful
Course in nice condition. Greens pretty quick but holes could do with being recut. Quite spread out with walks between groups of holes. Back nine nicer to play than front nine which suffered from excessive road noise from A90 and strong blustery wind. Didn't enjoy my morning bacon roll which was totally overcooked!
A great course with well kept fairways and greens. We enjoyed beautiful weather for our round with great views and surroundings. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful . A mixed bag of varying holes to enjoy with superb greens , some of which were a real challenge owing to gradients and pin siting but very fair.
A bit of slow play owing to a large visiting party ahead of us but in such wonderful weather I personally wasn't too fussed.
A great course, nice people, beautiful surroundings and a top days golfing. Definitely be back.
Great value for money
Fourball all playing the course for the first time and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The course was in lovely condition, tees, fairways, bunkers and greens all excellent. Some really good challenging holes but not too difficult for us med/high handicappers. Superb value for money and very welcoming staff. We lunched in the clubhouse afterwards and food was good. Will definitely be back.
Great course. Greens were fast but ran true. Nice challenge. We booked through golf now at a great price. Annual membership is worth considering for local players as it is good value. Remember to ask for the code to use toilets half was round course.
I have played some courses recently and paid 4 times what I paid here and the course was 4 times in better conditions than them outstanding value for money .
Obviously it's not the toughest course and there were a couple of holes that were lacking wee bit of imagination but hey .
The greens were Fantastic condition hats off to them .
Obviously it's not augusta but compared to some courses that charge ridiculous this course should be praised for what they offer
First impressions of Brechin GC
The course was in great condition, even for the time of year plus all the bad weather we have recently experienced, so massive acknowledgement to the hard work of all personnel involved.
The golf pro in the shop before and after my round was very helpful and gave me great advice after hearing that this was my first time to play the course. His professionalism and friendliness helped to make the whole experience very enjoyable.
The booking process was simple and straight forward.
Great deal being offered for the duration of February which allows golfers to play a round for £10 per person.
Warmly welcomed at the Pro shop. Nice breakfast roll and coffee. The course was in excellent condition and very dry despite recent heavy rain. Every hole is different on the course but the generous fairways make it very user friendly. The greens were superb. 2nd time I’ve played the course and will definitely be back.
This course has a great layout
The green were being repaired when I played but very well worked out. Really enjoyed the challenge & lovely scenery. Definatly going back
Damp conditions but well maintained, if slightly disjointed, course.
The layout of Brechin golf course is somewhat unusual but was caused, I understand, by the arrival of the dual carriageway which dissected the course in 2. You play the first 3 holes then walk a bit to find the 4th tee. Here there is a loop of the 4th , 5th and 6th before walking across a bridge over the main road to find 7 - 17 before recrossing to play the 18th.
It was very damp the day we were there so conditions meant no run at all, but still lightning fast greens, which I have to say were in great condition. The slope on some of these was incredible, we found them very difficult to read! A real challenge to 2 putt to be honest.
I would like to go back and play the course on a dry day as I really liked the layout and feel I could do better the second time.
Brechin is worth a visit
Enjoyed paying brechin golf club, there is good variety to the layout, some testing greens that were in nice condition, found front nine easier than back, you have to walk a little between groups of holes divided and by crossing bridge over motorway but was an different experience, shame it was a little bit wet on the day with some drizzle but will be back and hopefully the sun will come out to play. Worth a visit and decent value.
Thoroughly enjoyed the course, it is in very good condition. The only minor gripe was the walks between some of the holes
