Fantastic links course in awesome condition and played tough with the wind in our face going out and downwind coming back. Definitely recommend this course to anyone wanting to play a great links course for a good price!!
Lovely Links
This is not a world class course but it is so enjoyable, I always try to play Arbroath whenever I’m in Scotland!
Fairway mats
I did not know until I arrived that mats were to be used from tees and fairways I would not expect this so late in march but I do understand the reasons for doing this . It did not spoil what was a enjoyable round of golf.
Excellent condition for the time of year
Very breezy day but we couldn’t fault the general condition of the course. Greens were excellent and although the course is still on the winter tees it was still excellent value for the money.
Pro shop were very helpful and informative as well.
Will definitely try to be back in the summer
Great greens
Played in torrential rain and high winds but still enjoyable, greens ran well, fairways a bit patchy but probably suffering after the dry summer, would play again.
Horrible staff
I came to this establishment, even called 20 minutes before hand to confirm if the driving range was open. Only to be confronted by an bafoon telling me that I was not able to use the driving range because apparently it is a ‘hard game’ and that he fears I might smash a window out of a main building. To I replied yes it is a ‘hard game’ to play thus the reason I came to the driving range to practice. And also why they would place a building at the driving range. To then tell me he wasn’t comfortable to let me on the driving range for reason he would not explain. I’m appalled at this behaviour and it is absolutely disgusting and complete snobbery. Staff a needs hard speaking too and a revamp. Of attitude. How they can expect to treat me like this after driving 20 miles to use the driving range. What kind of business are they running here especially at these trying times. Would not recommend if I was Gordon Ramsey and this was kitchen nightmares I would shut the place down and he would be the first one I’d sack.
Thanks but no thanks. Keep your driving range.
Yours sincerely. The 2 gypsies who has played golf for 2 years who you didn’t like the look of. 2021 grow up
Beautiful links
Amazing course condition with friendly staff and members. Traditional links set-up is far more challenging than you imagine. Avoid the rough at all costs!! All in, an enjoyable and challenging course to play.
Lovely links
All though 2greens were winter greens it didn’t diminish our round, the course was fantastic and the greens were a pleasure to put on .would definitely be back
