A Central Valley Go To Course
Always a decent course on the Central Valley stop. Cencalhack did an excellent job describing conditions and the layout of the course. Greens remain the strong point of the course. They are fairly large with some challenge but predictable breaks. Carts offer pin sheets with greens broken down into thirds so the pin sheet will just give you a front , middle or back location.
Fairways are dormant but still very playable. Tee boxes on the par 3's were all in need of some Maintanence. they were horrible. All of the other tee boxes were decent. I agree, the course plays harder than it suggests. The main thing here is keeping your tee shot in the fairway and out of a fairway bunker. as long as you do that it's a very scoreable course in that there's not much trouble around the greens outside the traditional bunkering
Ridge creek also makes you feel like your actually at a GOLF course and not just a random field with 18 flagsticks. By that, I mean, they have a nice rock waterfall entrance, a great practice area (grass range, multiple chipping and full wedge stations) and the pro shop & restaurant buildings actually have some nice architectural design to them.
Yes, this course is in the middle of nowhere but it doesn't feel like it once you enter the grounds
Also. I've only played here mid week so POP is always great
A gem!
First time playing this course. Greens were super soft. Will definitely play it again soon.
Not in Great Shape
I like this course and luckily have been here quite a few times, but his most recent round would not be one that brought me back. The course is too dry, assuming my because they have limited water. Greens are destroyed by ball marks and it seems like nobody even cares. Every bunker was in horrible condition, some filled with mud and water pools, some dry and hard as a rock.
The pro shop attendant was also rude, and seemingly annoyed with me wanting to pay the advertised price. He tried to charge me $45 for a round that on GolfNow was only $32. I asked about it and he said they were renegotiating their contract with GolfNow and that he couldn’t control what I paid there. So naturally I booked my round right there in front of him and he was less than thrilled.
On the other hand, this course is in bad shape and absolutely not worth paying almost $50 for a round starting at 4pm. Someone jumped their head over at Ridge Creek.
Details
The sand traps need work. Draining problem. Need real sand not dirt. Really need ball washers and drinking fountain on course. Tee markers need to be improved. Greens are great!
Quick Round
Course has been in better shape traps need a lot of work & greens have way too many ball marks!
Pace of play fantastic we played in 3 hours 20 minutes!
Dinuba fun
Great course,, greens were very fast but in good condition, fairways could use a little more water, but hey it’s Ca in a drought. Very nice course and we enjoyed playing there.
Ridge Creek Dinuba is a gem
Beautifully manicured and scenic (We could see the mountains from everywhere on the course).
Greens were fast and in beautiful shape. Sand bunkers need some help.
We played a twosome in under 3 1/2 hours.
The clubhouse and restaurant staff were really great.
The greens are trash
Nobody repairs divots
Definitely not worth the $
Had a real good time
It is very nice for the price that you pay and very challenging
Great day to be playing GOLF!
Ridge Creek can be very challenging if your not hitting it straight. Course was in good shape. Be nicer when the fairways turn green.
Weather was perfect. Not to busy during the afternoon. Play at your own pace was nice.
Nice course
Very much enjoyed playing this course, probably the best golf course in the Central Valley
