About
Olympia Hills Golf Course is very exciting and enhances San Antonio's reputation as a golf destination. A unique combination of natural topography and man-made mounds and bunkers make this a super course. Native South Texas vegetation and golf course grass seed formulations on fairways and greens will provide state-of-the-game playing surfaces. The views are spectacular, with several holes playing to greens well below the tees, while other lead to a significant rise to reach the putting surface. Fairways, which on some holes are tight, are often sloped and guarded by bunkers. The tips will not be played by the faint hearted, but with four sets of tee boxes, the course can be enjoyed by all levels of players.

Fun Day
Course was on great shape for winter day. We walked and the rate was very low. Will be back soon.
Great Layout
I quite enjoy the layout of the course. The two nines are quite different, requiring different skills. Pace of play could have been better but I was able to finish my 18 before sundown
Good Time
Really enjoyed the round and the walking rate was very good. It is a very hard walk with many steep uphill climbs.

Winter conditions. Week after snow fall and course has taken a beating but I am sure it will bounce back. Greens were in bad conditions and no "true" roll. This time of year you could play the course with only a putter.
Great layout
Course was hard hit by last weeks deep freeze. Greens have poa anana springing up in all greens. Course has great layout but will need some warm weather to get back to conditions that Olympia usually provides
Great course - tough but playable
My wife and I played this wonderful course in late February. We saw at least 100 deer on the course. Beautiful. Tight fairways on the front, quick rolling greens and lots of bunkers. We can’t wait to play again when it greens up.
Greens are in poor condition
Cart died on the 2nd hole. Carried my bag until a new cart was brought out on the 4th hole. The greens and most tee boxes were in poor condition. Not a good option for winter golf.
Olympia Holls
Nice course. Greens have some spotty growth that needs attending. Hit a few patches and sent my putts flying! Tee boxes are awful. There are a few I needed a hammer to put my tee in. But overall being a Bermudas course, this bad boy doesn't really show it's true beauty till it warms up. Nice elevation changes, tends to play much faster in the off-season. But overall a good place to play.
Third visit
Third time playing this course, didn't have my best game, but enjoyed even more as I learn the course.
