Worth a Visit
Course provides a challenge for all skill levels. The course is always in great condition
Small greens
Played on a super windy weekday so not too many ppl out there pace was excellent. Booked as a twosome and got paired up with 2 members who were great. Course is walkable but we had carts and would probably recommend. Weird layout between some holes that could be long walk. Good parkland course with small greens so need to be accurate. It’s a decent course but don’t understand the 5 star ratings people have given.. this is by no means a prestigious course. Staff were very friendly both in the pro shop and restaurant.
Beautiful course
I've played this course several times over several years. The course is always well kept. The holes are laid out well. The course is also long - You can walk 9, but I would recommend a cart if playing 18. Tee times are always on time, and rarely do you run into the people playing in front of you. Carts are well kept and clean. There is a small pro-shop with the most important items. Also, there is lots of parking and a small putting green for practice. The view over the harbour is beautiful, but the course itself is also beautiful, with trees and water. I have run into lots of birds, including hawks, herons and wild turkeys).
Don't Overlook This Course
This is a great course with a first-class restaurant and outdoor patio. The Starter was extremely helpful with his briefing and was able to get us off on time. The course was in great playing shape . This course is picturesque overlooking the water from up high.
Picton
Had a great day meet a very nice couple and had a fantastic day. Course was in great shape, very nice course to play.
Nice course
The course is well maintained (2 tee boxes were being repaired on that day). Some of the fairways are narrow and there a few challenging doglegs (you first shot has to be at the right location to get a view of the green). Course was not too busy. Overall an enjoyable afternoon.
Holes offer a good variety
Nice layout and challenging for golfers of all levels. It maybe a little long for women. Greens are pretty good and hold the line. Will play again when back in Picton.
challanging track
this golf track is very challenging with the fairways fairly narrow and long rough. not every hole needs a driver as a long iron will leave you in a better position for the green. greens are very challenging and in very good shape. tee boxes also very good shape - not full of divots.
Picton
Nice course fast greens, but not made for walking.
Hidden gem in PEC
The Picton Golf Club is a fun course to play. It is close to the town of Picton, and all of the things Prince Edward County has to offer (Sandbanks, wineries, restaurants, boating, etc.). The course plays all of its 6300 yards and plays fairly tight with fescue framing most holes. Course is usually in good condition. Restaurant in clubhouse has good food and amazing view. Best value course in the area.
very good course
Course in good shape; greens roll true, but a little slow.
Very good challenge for average golfer; excellent variety of holes.
Pleasant Surprise
Nice new nine hole addition to the older style nine hole course. Added water hazards and vista views of surrounding country side of new nine have made this a very nice course. Greens in very good shape. Worth a repeat visit!
