Amazing Views - and great course
This has got to be one of the friendliest places to play golf. From the time we arrived to handing back the keys, the club pro in the shop helped us and as it was our first time playing the course gave us a lot of directions and instructions all of which were helpful.
First hole - easy par three to settle you down and then from there on, its the views that are astounding. Greens we not to tricky.
The course is set in three groups which is great because they are all different. Some holes are simply up and down, others are blind and some are over water. Mind if you play later on in the afternoon, the 17th can be blinding from the sun.
will be back
Very nice, friendly club with a great course. A lot of +300yd holes
Lovely position, well laid out and a pleasure to play.
Interesting Course !
The course is definitely not boring. Testing short par 3’s, water, uphill approaches to elevated greens. So many courses are just up and down but this one had real character about it. I have been considering joining a.club for some time and now I think I have found the one. Not just because of the course but the staff both in the club shop and bar were friendly as were the other members I spoke to. I think for a high handicapper and someone looking to improve their overalll game this course will allow you to use and get better all aspects of your game. PS the greens were in excellent condition.
Fantastic course.
Beautiful golf course & an absolute bargain to. Greens we’re excellent. Fantastic course we shall return to in summer.
What a course!
Brilliant course. Considering terrible weather a few days prior, the course was in mint condition. Fairways were a bit long, but given the fact it was underwater a week or so ago, has recovered really well. Cannot wait to be back in the summer!
Brilliant course
Great course! Can’t wait to play again when it’s drier in spring/summer!
Interesting course
I stayed over in a woodland lodge at Arscott and played the course too. Fantastic treat the lodges had hot tub. The course was great to play, thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely return with some fellow golfers
Fabulous
The course is in magnificent condition. Greens are great and a real treat to play. Fantastic value for money.
Excellent Course
Great day at Arscott even though it was probably far too hot to be our playing golf. Greens were in great condition as always. Catering staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Pro always greats you with a friendly welcome and I was very pleased there was a buggy available to use on the back nine.
One of the best kept courses in Shropshire
I have played this course a number of time and it is a challenging course. Every time I play the course is in excellent condition and the staff there are superb.
Anybody who likes golf should go here. It is fantastic
A beautiful but challenging course in excellent condition. The rough was a bit long and the pins were cut in difficult positions, but we played shortly after an U14 competition so the course was set for them - perfectly understandable and to be expected. Some holes can play a bit long, especially in the colder wetter months, and some of the hills might leave you "stopping to admire the view" every now and again so be warned. But third time we've played it and certainly not the last. Well worth the 60 odd mile round trip for a game every couple of months.
Great course
I have played Arscott several times now and live playing there. Good, challenging course that is fun to play and a course that provides all types of different holes and hazard to navigate.
Will visit again, maybe even get a membership when possible!!
