A challenging but forgiving course with plenty of hills to climb. Greens had been dressed with some kind of gritty feed/fertiliser but they were consistent and ran true. We were lucky with the weather but the newly mowed 2nd cut meant the ball was covered in grass, so fairway golf strongly recommended. Air pressure shoe cleaner not working which was a shame and the only negative of the day, oh and play was slow. Will return .
Really good course
This course was brilliant, fairways and greens really well kept. Will definitely play again.
Good golf course and in great condition
Good golf course, great condition and a friendly club to play
Played Beamish in a fourball today in glorious weather. The course was in superb condition, but perhaps most importantly, the greens were fantastic, running very true and fast. Overall great value for money and highly recommended. One of the best courses in the region.
Really enjoyed Beamish abit hilly times say the least but a great challenge will definitely play it again.
Great course quite challenging
Course in great condition. Staff very friendly can't wait to play there again
They'd had a lot of rain in the few days prior but the course was in fantastic condition. Really enjoyed playing it and there were a few holes that made you think. Greeted by a really nice guy in the pro shop who helped us upon arrival. Only down side was the pace of play, as a 2 ball we were stuck behind a 4 ball from the 9th onwards.
Love this course
What can I say. The course is always immaculately presented and provides a great test for all. Add the location and you have one of the best courses in the area.
I was treated by a man just leaving the course with a lovely conversation and welcoming to his regular course. I must have had three more people welcoming and my brother to beamish.
The course is hilly but in wonderful condition given the time of year I will definitely be back some time soon.
