An attractive looking course
It's an attractive looking course, still very green in November. The front 9 is superior, with some rolling terrain and holes a bit more interesting. Hole 2 was my favorite. Back 9 is flat, and more cramped with narrow housing boundaries and water hazards. The greens were a good speed, but a bit choppy, perhaps due to aerification a while ago? Pace of play was good, the golf carts are great, and the restaurant is nice. It was a positive experience, and I would go back.
Course was just aerated, so greens were a lil bumpy and sandy, but tis the season. The rest of the course was in good shape. Pace was a lil slow but a former Chicago Bears player, his wife and company were in front of the group ahead of us, so, pretty cool. Over all a good experience and would definitely recommend to anyone
Fantastic
Course was in great shape and it’s very challenging. The only thing we wish they had was someone serving drinks during the round.
Jose C.
The course is in really good condition and tests all your golf abilities. The pace was a little slow, but the course was packed. Bring extra balls since there are a few holes with tight fairways. The hot deal for $50 is a fair price.
Great Course!
This is a great course. I am not a good golfer and it was one of the harder courses I have golfed. The grounds are spectacular, tons of staff working to keep it nice. Refreshment cart came by 5 times on our full round. Luxury quality golf carts.
Amazing experience!
From Texas, I met my cousin from Chicago to play here. Both our first times and we’re already wanting to make this a yearly trip.
The course was stunning. Nicest public course I’ve ever played on, and rivals the private courses I’ve been lucky enough to play. For the price, experience, friendliness of staff, restaurant, cleanliness, you can’t beat it. What a great time! Although it’s not a terribly long course, it has a great layout and you have to play strategically which is great fun.
Amazing course
This is an amazing course that is usually very expensive to play I seen that there was a hot deal for the day and decided to make the drive to play and was quite surprised to see how nice this golf course is the greens are alittle fast and take some getting used to but after that nothing but good times and make sure you stop at the restaurant at the turn amazing food overall would recommend this course to anyone 10/10 quality and experience
Lush, beautiful and appealing
This is a fantastic facility Course is in perfect shape - greens , fairways, tee boxes all great! I don't know how they do it but the rough is also luscious and tough to get out of - in mid July no less! Go play now !
Sandy Pines
Course was in excellent condition, even though everything around is dry.(bit of a drought) Greens are very receptive and roll true. Always enjoy playing at Sandy Pines.
