EXPERIENCE THE ONLY ROBERT TRENT JONES COURSE IN INDIANA
John “Spider” Miller, captain of the 2015 Walker Cup team, says “the Donald Ross Course at French Lick and Otter Creek are my two favorite courses in Indiana.”
Located in the midst of a serene countryside, Robert Trent Jones Sr. created the original 18 holes of this championship course. His design harmonizes the gently rolling hills of southern Indiana by utilizing the existing contours of the land to ensure that each shot is as natural as it could possibly be. Robert’s son, Rees Jones, designed an additional 9 holes that would compliment the original course. The result is a “Links” course that is as challenging as the original design.
Many championship tournaments have been held at Otter Creek, including: the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship, AJGA tournaments, NCAA regional championships, and the Indiana Men’s Amateur Championship – 26 times. The course has also been a qualification site for the U.S and Senior Open. Learn more about Otter Creek, see photos from AJGA tournaments.
