The golf course was a dirt farm

90% of the course was dirt. Not dormant Bermuda grass, but literal dirt. Booking here was a waste of time and money. They should’ve simply shut the course down until they began the overseeding process. We won’t be back.

The pro shop and all the workers were very helpful. Everyone made the day enjoyable. The course was rough, but it was a hot summer. Overall a good place to play.

Friendly people work there

Friendly people work there, the fairways were in very poor condition. Probably that time of year. I would probably golf again this morning or early spring. But I think the summer really took a toll on the course.

Disappointing

I guess the course is getting ready for their winter overseeding, but you'd think they'd feel guilty about selling times when the only grass on the course is on the greens. Tee boxes and fairways are virtually entirely dirt. At least warn someone about how poor the conditions are before selling a tee time to them. Pace of play was good, since there weren't very many people there. The driving range (closed) had plenty of lush grass, so one can only hope the rest of the course will eventually begin to look like that once the overseeding is complete.

Disappointing For Sure

Played this course 11 days before overseed. Course was in terrible shape…and not because of the upcoming overseed. Evidently they have not a watering system because the “fairways” were nothing but brown grass and dirt…the same could be said of the tees…mostly dirt! Greens were barely adequate…didn’t have to worry about fixing divots because you couldn’t make…very firm! No water stations on the course, desperately needed!! Not sure how they can advertise this course as beautiful experience. Really disappointed and won’t be back any time soon. I love golf but this tested my patience!

Scalped and dead grass

Would have been nice to know they had scalped and stopped watering. Basically no grass.

Normally a good course but we picked the wrong time to play.

We played just before shutdown for overseeding--fairways very rough with almost no grass---this is expected for this time of year so it was our mistake to decide to play the week before overseeding. When I said I wouldn't recommend the course to a friend--I mean at this time. Bob

Not great conditions, but

The course is in really rough shape right now. Water has clearly not been on for some time, and the fairways are almost entirely dirt. Range and practice green are also both closed for over seeding. As a whole, it wasn’t a bad experience, as I was with a good group of friends, people in the course and in the clubhouse were friendly, and the weather was nice. The course as a whole wasn’t ideal, but for 20 dollars in the valley this time of year, what could you expect? Would I recommend this place for a tournament or a high stakes round? No. Would I go here with a couple of my non serious golf friends who would balk at 80 dollar green fees to hang out and have a good time with a courteous staff? Yes.

Should be closed

If they are going to kill all the grass to overawed it would make sense, to just close the course. This is by far the worst course I have ever played from a condition stand point.

Worst conditions in Arizona

I play one to two times per week and this was the worst course condition i have ever seen. Spoke with a employee and they said the water has been off for a week and he was not sure why they were still allowing play as it was in overseed condition. The course was shaved down to dirt, you could not chip or hit a iron. Pace of play was super slow 5 1/2 hour round at best, Sunday morning and no starter or course Marshall. Arizona Golf Resort name is false advertising. Arizona goat track would be more appropriate.

What happened

Course was in worst shape ever. I was told there was only one other person on the course ahead of me but when I got to hole number 8. There was a league of young girls teeing off. It took me about and hour to play 7 holes, but when I caught up to the girls,it took them almost an hour to go one hole. I had enough and just quit and went home. Will never play that course again

This Place SHOULD NOT EXIST

Introduction and Safety Concerns

My mother had the misfortune of living and passing away at this property in April. According to the police officers I spoke with, there was another death just two weeks before my mother's. It seems that law enforcement visits are a regular occurrence here. In March, a tenant reported a foul smell, only to discover a decomposing body on the premises. This raises serious concerns about safety and well-being.

Maintenance and Accommodation Issues

My mother faced numerous challenges with the property management. A year prior to her passing, she fell and injured herself due to an upturned carpet in her apartment—a hazard that was never addressed. Later, she fell again, injuring her hips. Despite being on a month-to-month contract and having mobility issues, her request for a first-floor apartment was outright denied by the management.

Ethical Concerns and Management Behavior

The management's ethical conduct is highly questionable. My mother never re-signed a year-long lease, yet they claimed she did and even went as far as forging her signature. When she requested to see her contract, they conveniently "couldn't find it." Additionally, there are inappropriate relationships between employees and tenants. I raised these concerns with the property manager, only to be met with blatant dishonesty.

Payment and Access Issues

The management's approach to payments and access is inconsistent and troubling. They selectively demand cash payments from tenants they appear to have issues with. Moreover, while they entered a neighbor's apartment without notice, they hesitated to check on my mother's well-being despite multiple neighbor's report of a concerning noise, waiting instead for police intervention.

Sanitation and Living Conditions

The property's sanitation standards are abysmal, to say the least. The premises are infested with mice, mice feces, roaches, rats, and mold—all of which I have documented with photos. The final correspondence my mother received was an assessment report from a home inspection company, declaring her living conditions as unlivable.

Alleged Corruption and Legal Concerns

There are rumors suggesting that the property owner has connections within the Mesa City government, making it challenging for tenants to hold the property accountable. I can personally attest to the difficulties in dealing with the management. Even the police officer present during my mother's passing advised me to contact law enforcement if I encountered any issues with the property, stating that they were well aware of the management's malicious practices.

Conclusion

In summary, this property has proven to be a hazardous and unethical environment, plagued by issues ranging from poor maintenance and unethical behavior to alleged corruption. I strongly advise against anyone considering living here or engaging with its management.

Complete waste of money

I had bad experiences the last two times I golfed here but wanted to give them another try. I’ve played the course before and it’s a really fun course but this was definitely the last time I spend my money here. Arrived early to warm up before my round and asked for a bucket of balls. The employee said the range was just over seeded so it’s closed, range putting area, chipping area, everything. Put that on the web site or something, right ? Course was in rough shape as well. Bummer because it used to be a nice course.

Disorganized

10 carts lined up staff stating that they are starting everyone off 10 tee when the front nine was completely open. They finally agreed to let us go off the front and play was fine. Back nine super slow finally went around two groups in front of us and found the course completely open. No starter or Marshall. The poor cart girl was apologizing for the disorganization. The course was scalped and dry with patches of dirt in the middle of many fairways.
