Fun layout
We really enjoy this course. Fun layout. Challenging but fair. Greens were in very good condition. Lots of tricky breaks. More than normal 3 putts!
Challenging layout
This course is a challenge. Lots of water. 10th hole has been changed due to construction so yardages not accurate on app. Person who checked in was disparaging re golf now and made us feel not wanted. Marshall was great though. They should have warned about 10. Difficult to find pro shop entrance. Signage could be better.
Very few redeeming qualities
The starter (Assa) was nice, range was adequate, course is awful. Go play Eagle Falls in Indio, the PGA West circuit or some of the Marriott prperties. Seems they invest very little back into the course
Not a bad experience
Range was closed due to No Balls. Ok since unpacked balls were laying about the range and nobody stopped you from hitting them.
Front nine mostly played thru housing community but otherwise good layout. Back 9 was in hills with houses but much more open and a bit longer. Were around the greens and fairways the course playing area was well maintained.
Priced right and although brown and weeds
Good value
Conditions were average. Good value for the green fee. We enjoyed it. Beers are too expensive though. :)
Good Value For Money
This course is the oldest that we played in five days of golf in the Palm Springs area. The club house and nearby ditch were not appealing. However, once on the course we found some challenging holes and some easier ones. The pace was good. We kept up with those ahead and never felt pushed by those behind. We had fun on this course!
Good course, but way overpriced
We used to play this course a lot and felt we got value for our money. Now the course is charging twice as much and not offering great conditions.
The 10th hole has been shortened considerably, but we weren't told about this by the pro shop or the starter. I don't think the scorecard has been changed yet and of course, our gps meters didn't have the change updated.
We like the course and would love to play it again, but not for the price that Cathedral Canyon GC is demanding.
