Top Notch
Near perfect conditions. Beautiful layout. Good value for the money. Will definately go back.
Highly recommended
From the arriving to leaving. Everything was outstanding. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The course was in outstanding shape for the end of August. Greens were running great. Was done in 3h 10m as a twosome. With a threesome in front of us. One walking. The only downfall was the restaurant was closed for remodeling I guess. Was a little disappointed as hear they have great food. Did have a food truck.
Indian Wells Players Course
Indian Wells players course is a very well layed out facility that will appeal to the golfer wanting to try a course that is very long and very challenging from the tips. There are several long par 4s that will test a golfers long iron striking ability. The greens were in good shape for this time of year. The staff was very accommodating and helpful with my visit. This is a world class venue that does a good job providing a memorable experience for their visitors. Would definitely recommend this to anyone in the Palm Springs or Indian Wells area!
Awesome course and staff
Played 4 times this week on Players course. Celebrity course closed right now. Staff was super friendly, great merchandise in shop and cart service was always out and about. Food service is limited during the remodel so plan accordingly.
It's a deal right now.
Easily the in the best condition compared to the other courses in the same pay range. The greens where immaculate, 10 on the stint, and sooo true. Fairways, tee boxes, staff. All top notch. If I didn't already have another tee time today @ La Quinta ......... I would go back in a heartbeat. Only downside, the bar and grill is closed for renovations.
Great Course!!
Very nice course in the desert. Course was in great condition although it was mid July and you can tell its been hot for a while. The tee boxes were in good shape and the fairways were manicured. The greens were really slow but that is to be expected. It was hard putting on the slow greens considering what I am used to putting. Course staff was friendly and the player assistant was out and about with the ice cold towels. Only complaint was we caught a really slow group and they wouldn't let us through. The round was still 4:15 so I can't really complain. Overall a great experience and I can't wait to play there again.
Amazing experience.
Celebrity course was in tip top shape. Players course was closed for green maintenance. Greens were very true and smooth. Course was so much fun we played the next day over many other options in the area. Will be back to play the players course.
Great day to play
Got to the Celebrity course at 6:10. Went into the Pro Shop and they set me up with a GolfNow rate. 4th off the Tee as a single. Caught up to a foursome at third hole and they waved me through. Caught the next foursome at the 4th and the waved me through as well. The sixth hoke I caught up to the first group off for the day and they waved me through as well. The round was completed in 2h50min. Played from the Blues 6600+ yards. A few long par 4rs, but very manageable. Played before the heat hit, and the course was in pristine conditions. Greens were slow as expected for this time of year, but ran true. All in all a great day at a great course at a great rate.
Wonderful Course and staff!
Everything perfect!
Very friendly staff!
The starter Phyz Ed is unforgettable!
Course in perfect condition despite the heat!
Water and icemachines on the course.
We will come again!
Great Round
Great day all around course & staff were outstanding!!
Beware of the tournaments
We were enjoying a solid round until we came up on a juniors tournament on the back 9. We were unable to finish our round because the pace of play ground to a halt with holes taking longer than 30 minutes behind the juniors. We had been told that there was a scramble tournament ahead of us but that They had made sure we had enough room between us and the tournament do you have a reasonable pace. I think it’s incumbent on the course to notify players that there could be a problem when the circumstances occur. Very disappointed.
Nice Course
Nice course, in pretty good condition. Greens were SUPER FAST. Quite a few blind shots which can be tough when you’re playing for the first time. Overall would recommend
A must play
When in palm desert this is the course to play. Beautiful grounds and the weather was perfect. I look forward to our next visit.
Boutique Couse
Give the score card a really good review before you book this location. While the condition of the course was beyond perfect, it's short. The Celebrity course is a single par 5 single par 3 per nine, and the whites only play 6000 yards.
I normally look at slope and rating as well as the card a lot closer, but having been in a rut and not playing new course lately, I was out of practice at paying attention.
The range is nice off the grass and piles of balls at the tee, excellent warm up and excellent practice facility.
Definably narrow, you won't be scoring spraying it off the tee and expect to score . if you're longer than 220 off the tee, play the tips. Greens are brutal tough, 14 plus stimp!
Carts are a bit dodgy, I was given a half dead cart that starting failing half way through the front nine, and had issues climbing hills. Called the pro shop for a replacement that never found me. That and the onboard ball and club scrubber was dry because the drain plug was gone, and the cooler was empty on a 93º day.
Lastly, this is a resort facility, not a TPC experience by any stretch. LOTS of bling LOTS of big money catering going on here. Also, plenty of tour-wanna-bees that won't let you play through even if you ask! Twosomes that play slower the foursomes. sooooo slow for a short course, should be round in 3 hours--you'll be lucky finish in 5!
The huge redeeming quality of this location is the on course staff. The starters and marshals are amazing folks that really care about your experience and making it as excellent as possible.
Best Experience in the Valley
Challenging layout with a little bit of elevation change. Outstanding conditions. Friendliest staff around. One reminder to all: fix your ball marks (and someone else’s). I fixed at least 3 fresh marks on nearly every green.
