Do you struggle with chip shots from the fairway around the green? If so, Andrew Rice has a great alternative to the wedge to help you get up and down more. Use a hybrid and play a bump and run to start hitting closer.
Thanks for your insights for Australia. Best money I have spent joining
What degree highbread
I have a long putter because of the yips. I am afraid the rescue club would result in the yips as well. Thoughts?
Thanks Andrew, would never have considered using the hybrid in that way but will now give it a go - yes I get a bit anxious with the wedges that close

I played a course that watered a lot in front of the greens. It is winter, so mostly very thin grass. Many of these shots are 6’-20’ from the green. Is the hybrid bump and run still a good option? Any adjustments if I cannot land it on the green.
It's ideal for when there isn't much grass around Sam. Try it.
Andrew, Great lesson! I often use my hybrid when my ball comes to rest against the collar of the green, but never thought about 6 feet or less. How about a lesson on getting shots out of the collar around greens. Always love to watch your videos.
Much appreciated Tom! Thank you.
