Reviews
Great course, unfortunately didn’t get a chance to play today do to the heavy rains over night flooding the course. Rebooked for tomorrow. Played the course several times before on our visits to Mazatlán really enjoyed it.
Good course
Good course our caddie Alberto was great he has been a caddie there for 35 years highly recommend to ask for him if you ever go
El Cid
El cid has 3 nine hole courses and we played two of them. The conditions were good, but not great. We didn’t know that we needed a fore-caddy until we checked in (extra$ and really not needed).
We ate in the restaurant after our round. The food and service were phenomenal, A definitely plus.
Fun Track, spectacular treatment
We do not get the chance to play with caddies often. El Cid is a course that still offer caddie services and they are great. The overall staff service and caddie service always make the experience a really fun one and it is hard to beat what they offer with what they charge. We stayed at one of their El Cid resorts on a Mazatlan Golf Package, and we were able to play unlimited golf on three different layouts with a great All inclusive food and beverage hotel plan for a really good price. We are definitely coming back.
Fun 27 holes
Some nice mix and match across 27 holes at El Cid, which is nicely located in the heart of the city. The pair of older 9s ask for solid precision off the tees as you route through some very cool homes, and the Marina 9 opens up so you can spread the driver a bit (just be mindful of a bunch of water hazards).
Best service in town!
This golf course is in decent shape. You can tell they have water problems, but besides that is a good track. I really like this course because of the caddies and the friendly staff. The new pro its being doing a good job and the rest of his staff has been there forever and there is no one best. The food has improved a lot too.
For the price they charge, Its hard to argue. The best deal for your money.
