The ocean nine might be the most scenic of the three loops at Palmilla. Photo submitted by JasonDeeganGA on 02/12/2014
Good time at Palmilla
Played twice in last week. First time with a buddy and flew, no one in front or behind. Second time bit slower playing solo behind some groups with Wife riding along but not bad.
Greens were bumpy in places and not enough sand in some greenside bunkers. Outside of that very happy with course conditions.
Staff was great, super friendly and helpful. Only one comfort station was bit disappointing in first round not knowing to load up. Also during 2nd round was told can load up at clubhouse—which we did.
Fun time, knowing course helped. Would definitely go back—if price is reasonable.
Fun Golf Day at Palmilla
The course was in great condition and the staff very friendly. My son and I made it a 6-hour round as the all inclusive nature of the hut on the course and after 9 made it a perfect way to get an extended rest with unlimited tacos and margaritas. We will definitely come back.
Not Pristine but good.
Had a great time at this course, Ocean was closed. The drinks and food are included, which was a plus. Not the best course I have ever played, but I enjoyed and will play again.
Fun round
The course is a fun resort course. Huge fairways and receptive greens make is fun for all levels of players. Staff could not have been more helpful. The price of rental clubs could have been lower and even come with golf balls like most courses. A lot of construction happening around the course currently. Clubhouse currently under construction. Overall, fun course.
Beautiful Course!
First time at Pamilla golf course and was pleased with entire experience.
Beautiful grounds, tropical plants and flowers everywhere.
Course conditions are good and layout challenging.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
I recommend this course.
Awesome course
My son and I played Palmilla Golf Course and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were on vacation and it is a must play for anyone that Golfs. The course was in fantastic shape. The staff is awesome. And the views were spectacular.
Average at best
Lots of construction. Staff expected tips at every turn. Arroyo 9 greens in bad shape. For a course that charges an arm and a leg to play, one would expect better conditions
Good not great
Overall, it was a good course. The amenities were great! I expected a little better from the course conditions though. Tee boxes were patchy. Fairways were hard and dry. The Ocean course only shows the ocean on one hole. I would recommend Cabo Del Sol for the same price.
Very nice
Staff was great. Comfort stations were at another level. Not crowded and never rushed. Course Aroyo and ocean were fun to play.
Beautiful Scenery
Staff was great, good pace of play, but fairways were not soft as one would expect loading north of $100 for a round.
Great course, horrible check-in customer service
So many great things about this course. Definate improvements from the condition last year. The comfort stations are beautiful. The course is well maintained and they are continuting to make improvements. Currently hole 18. The bag drop staff, fabulous. The cart staff, fabulous. The starter, fabulous. With all of the superior staff interaction I will taken back by the most horrendous customer service from the check in gal. Rude. Did not smile. No explaination of the amenities of the course. No mention that the comfort station food and drinks were included with the round. No offer of hitting balls at the range. No plesantries whatsoever. Ridiculious. We booked thru golf now and had an issue with an injured player. We asked to speak to a manager and she refused to get him so we could possibly work through our situation. We were FORCED to pay for a player that did not play (even though we canceled properly with golf now} or she said no one could play and we could leave. What is happening on this course? I asked the cart staff if the manager was on property and they had no clue. Unbelievable that no managment (visable/or on site somewhere) to handle customer service issues. Apparantly that is left to a 20 something year old front desk gal calling the shots and deciding who is worthy for her to seek out management even after a GUEST request. So many options in Cabo for golf, its truly a shame one person can leave such bad impression and overshawdow what is supposed to be an upper end course experiance.
Arroyo and Ocean Courses
I played the Arroyo course first, which is a great warm up to the Ocean course. Both courses have beautiful views and a fun layout. The Ocean course has even more beautiful Ocean views and challenging holes. This is a create property and fairly good value if you play the afternoon rate. All tee times include comfort stations with food, snacks and drinks!
Great golf, great views, great staff
The three golf courses are amazing and the courses are well taken care of. Every course has great views be sure to take it all in.
The comfort stations had amazing food and the staff is friendly and service is top notch.
