Reviews
Always struggled to be ok
There is nothing golden and there are no hills on this course. It is one of the simpler layouts in East Mesa and has never been in ‘good’ condition for the last 15 years. New ownership/management has their work cut out for them. Best thing about the course is OTG bar off 7th green. Best hole layout is 14 based on pin location. Don’t expect much, but I still play here 2-3 times/year when other courses are full.
SCUBA anyone?
Staff was super friendly. We were warned that the course was cart path only, over-seed. We were not warned that the course was extremely wet, many of the fairways had 1 or 2 inches of standing water. In places where it was not wet there wasn’t much grass. The greens were really slow. If you are going to play I recommend bringing your scuba gear or snorkel along for the swim.
Old pictures
Was expecting a beautiful course based on the pictures , course in terrible condition doesn't appear that anyone is maintaining it . Finished 9 holes and left would not recommend don't be fooled by the images that are provided of the course I can not stress this enough do not pay to play at this course.
Poor condition
Fairways and t boxes very poor conditions. Hole 1 is still swampy . Pretty well same as earlier even after seeding . Need to fix drainage concerns
Would have been helpful to note that it was cart path only on a 105 degree day
Played Sunday morning
First of the fact that I got a tee time early Sunday morning was great. The course was recently seeded and it was cart path only. The greens were very slow because of re-seeding. The course itself was not hard but challenging. I enjoyed it wish is had a few less bare spots and quicker greens but I will play again.
Green Cleaning
green condition was very dusty. there was no cleaning after mowing.
Last round of the Summer
Had a good time golfing at this course. Course conditions were good even though it was getting ready for winter over seeding.
Know it’s overseed
I get it, it’s overseed time, that being said they shouldn’t have even been open. Even hitting out of fairway it was like hitting out the sand.
Cool course. Friendly staff. fair price. The fairways could be better. Alot of dirt. Careful raking the traps. I got a bunch of fiberglass in my hand from a sun-weathered rake handle.
It's a swamp
It's a swamp not a golf course, go spend your hard-earned money somewhere.
Good easy course people were nice and we had a good experience
