Fun if course is cheap
If you can get a good deal to play, it is a fun course. If you pay a normal golf rate for this course you would be disappointed. Areas that are supposed to be grass are dirt. No in the best condition. Staff if friendly though.
The course is in much better shape this year over last but still needs some work. I think the cost is high for this caliber course but guess it's the going rate for snow birds.
Nice course, good condition, and good value for the price.
Hello, franknbev0918. Thank you for visiting us at Arizona Golf Resort. We appreciate your 4-star rating and review. We hope you join us for another round soon.
good Value
The course fairways need a lot of work. Water and weed killer would help a lot. Areas around the green are very good. Greens a a bit slow-many have extra sand still on them. The layout is good. Pace of play kept moving (steady) A fun course for the lower cost.

Hi, ddmeixe. We would love to hear more about your 4-star experience on our course. Please tell us what we can do to earn that last star, and thanks for golfing at Arizona Golf Resort!
HORRIBLE PACE OF PLAY
Don’t even waste ur money course is in terrible condition and it’s just a bunch of the slowest old people on earth.
Carts
8:30 tee time. Plenty of carts. We were given an old cart. Four patches on the seat and started sputtering around 2nd hole.
This might sound picky but, c'mon, for the price, don't present carts like this.
Arizona
A frost in the morning put the times times way behind schedule. The pro shop employee didn't say anything about the backup due to the frost at the time we checked in. The starter was unorganized and had no idea who had what tee time. Just a messed up cluster. Could have been handled in a more organized matter but unfortunately it wasn't. Course was not in good shape. Will not be returning to play at this course.
Fun course; pace problem
Always enjoy the course when we’re actually able to play, but most of the time is spent waiting. I’ve played here 4 times within the last 4 months and each time there’s been a line of 3+ carts in front of me on the first tee box. Played last weekend and there were 8 carts! Tee time was 1:20, didn’t tee off until well after 2. Only got through 15 and we were out there until 5:45pm. Apparently there was a frost delay but that doesn’t excuse the other experiences I’ve had there. Crazy pace issue I haven’t experienced anywhere else. Other than that, I really enjoy the course itself. Looks much better than it did in the summer and the price is decent. Just need to fix the pace issue!
Top price for this course $50.
Tee time was delayed by a one hour frost delay. Both bags that had been attached by the attendant fell off the cart on the way to the tee box. The starter was very very good! He kept the first tee organized and calmly got everyone out. Because of the frost delay the course was backed up and played slow.
The greens were okay although too often we were hitting off bare spots on the fairway, the general condition was thin. Range balls are outrageously priced at $10 for a small and $17 for a large bucket. Carts are in poor shape with patches on the seats.
The course is conveniently located, good central location.
Frost Delay
It would have been nice to have had information about the 2 HOUR frost delay and the 1 1/2 hour wait. Since I was prepaid, I had no choice but to remain and try to get a few holes in. Should the golf course be responsible or your team?
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us, u3475097. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Arizona Golf Resort, and we hope to see you again in the future.
