JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa

This was my second time playing this course and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great layout - lots of fun - with some shorter par 4's thrown in for intermediate golfers like me. Course was in great shape - especially for summer - so kudos to the grounds staff. Added bonus are the wonderful views from several holes. Will definitely play here whenever I can.

I look forward to the summer heat where I can play nicer courses like this in the afternoons for cheap. Every green was in good shape and rolled great. I don't remember seeing a single significant patch of dead grass.. anywhere. Fairways and first cut was all just like you'd want it to be. The only gripe I could say was after the 4th green I saw like 4 carts on the 5th tee box so I know we were in for a long afternoon. That's not unusual for scottsdale / PV public courses on the weekend in prime season, but in August it was a little suprising.

Course was in very good condition. Greens were in good condition after punch and should be in great condition in the next week or two. Only issue was the cart GPS did not identify the correct pin placements. Bag staff was very helpful and friendly.

Absolutely fantastic golf course! The course is in outstanding condition, with beautifully maintained fairways and smooth, true greens. The layout is fun and challenging for golfers of all skill levels, and the scenery makes every round enjoyable. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and goes out of their way to provide a great experience. I can’t wait to come back and play again. Highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a top-notch round of golf!

Had a 6:30am tee time on Ambiente, the course was soaked from the sprinkler system. According to a person I played with this is how they water the course on a daily basis. Driver shots plugged a few times as a result. Also bring plenty of water to stay hydrated. All noted drinking water spots on the scorecard served hot water that was only good for wetting your golf towel. Since it was an early round, only seen the cart girl once on the back nine. Greens were slow, sandy and fuzzy due to recent aerification.

Could not be happier about the course, even the traps were,playable.

I very much enjoyed the layout at this course. However, the greens had recently been punched so putting was almost impossible. The fairways and tees were in ok condition but not yet recovered completely from overseeding. They were MUCH better than Legend Trail and TPC Champions courses which I also played within the last week.

Pace of play was awful. There was one group that had 3 open holes but no ranger to speed them up.

Perfect pace of play and the course is in great conditions. Greens had been punched several weeks ago but had recovered well. Lovely day to play!

It was very very hot, but they had ice in the cooler so you could cool off with a towel! Slow play with backup but the Marshall got it going quickly! The only bad thing was there was lots of distance from the golf cart to the tee box & greens with elevation that made it very difficult with the heat but otherwise good course! Will play in cooler weather 108 was tough!
