Legacy Golf Resort

We flew to Phx for the WM tourney and decided to play and stay at he Legacy Resort.

The course and the staff were absolutely fabulous. However, I do think it was a bit overpriced. The course was in great shape from tee to green. Would play there again if it weren’t so expensive.

Legacy was the most beautiful course I’ve ever played. The staff were super friendly with top notch treatment throughout our stay there. We played 3 rounds in 4 days, loved it!

Legacy golf course is a great course to play. The conditions are fantastic and challenging. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

loved the deep bunkers but there was enough room to steer away if your game is in form.

When in Phoenix we always plan on playing this course. Love the staff, and the course is always looked after and the staff is friendly and very helpful.

Course was in great shape. Possibly the best I’ve seen it out of the half a dozen or so times I’ve played it.

Wish the bar would have non alcoholic wine. They were also out of non alcoholic beer.

Tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. The greens were in good condition and rolled nice and true. Pot hole bunkers were hard packed and tough to get out of. If the bunkers were better condition i would highly recommend it.

Really enjoyed our round at The Legacy. Staff was nice, especially Tim, the starter. And the course was in really good shape overall, especially given the number of rounds being played this time of year. The greens were excellent, despite the unrepaired ball marks that are unfortunately always found on public courses. The fairways are huge and were also in great shape. You honestly should not miss many fairways - but if you do, you might get away with a decent lie in the desert, or you might be in some trouble.

My only knock on the course is the bunkers, which are all remarkably deep, and don't have enough quality sand overall. Lower skill players will have difficulty getting out of many of the bunkers, which slows the round.

But overall, I thought it was a very fun track, and I will definitely be going back.

Tees and fairways were in good shape. Greens were good but quite a few unrepaired ball marks. Sand traps were many (64) and were ok but sand was somewhat inconsistent. Overall it was a fun course to play and a very well organized staff.

The layout is pretty sweet.

The conditions were really really good.

The pace of play could be a little faster but it was not a big issue for us.

The staff is really friendly and nice.

We had a blast there and will definitely come back.

Because we were there at same time ad the Open the price were almost double so that is the only drawback.

I recommend this golf course to anyone who loves target golf and have a low handicap because some of those fairways are narrow :-)

Course seemed a little pricey but that’s to be expected in the winter. only complaint would be the sand traps. Very hard. Very little sand.
