Legacy Golf Resort

Nice layout, challenging course with elevated greens. Pace was almost 4.5 hours and we don't recall seeing a course marshal to hustle groups through for a 4 hour pace. We were a foursome and waited on every shot for most of the round.

First impression, the person in charge of the bag drop off was too busy on his cell phone to even come and help me unload my clubs. Pro Shop staff was very professional and did a great job. The rate of play was extremely slow because apparently there were resort credentialed players who were allowed to play in a group of eight which held up all players. Finally, the golf course was not well maintained and there's a lot of areas that need to be maintained and improved. Good value for the money but slowly but surely depreciating.

This is my 2nd time playing here recently. I enjoy the course layout, fast and true greens, practice facility, comfortable carts. My only complaint is the lack of sand in the bunkers. For this price point the bunkers need real sand. Lots of deep bunkers on this course. Pace of play was good this time as it was not overbooked like when I played here in March. The carts are nice and newer but there is a shortage of them. I love the friendly fairways on this course as they tend to push the ball towards the center, at least from the white tees. The greens were in great condition and they are fast.

My guys, and I played a round at Legacy during a golf trip. Overall, the courses in pretty decent shape in terms of fairways and greens. The bunkers are not good and the pace of play was embarrassingly bad. We took more than 5 1/2 hours to complete the round including being three groups backed up on the 11th hole. That said, it’s a nice course and the greens ran true. I would not recommend anyone paying to this course, do to how poorly it is run. Weshould have been an awesome day on the course. Unfortunately that was marred by an endlessly frustrating pace of play and by how poorly the situation was.

Great value, wide open fairways for the most part, yet challenging for the low handicapper’s. Great sporty track.

I have played all the big name courses in the area. I have also played alot of the other "great" courses here. Legacy stacks up against the big boys. Fantastic layout, challenging greens, amazing views, the golf carts are awesome, with Bluetooth and satellite radio. Morgan the cart girl is amazing. They could charge twice the price and I really feel it's worth it. A MUST PLAY.
