About Legacy Golf Resort
Legacy Golf Resort, operated by Shell Holidays, is located just south of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This resort features the 18-hole Legacy Golf Club, designed by Gary Panks and home to a full practice facility and golf instruction and academy. The resort features 328 suites set in a Spanish mission-style theme and units feature either kitchens or kitchenettes, washer-dryers, patios or balconies and large living areas. There is an outdoor pool with cabanas and an outdoor bar, tennis courts, sand volleyball, shuffleboard, BBQ area and children's playground. Dining is available at the golf club.Facts

Best course for general enjoyable play in south Phoenix area. Excellent condition and challenging for all capabilities.
First Timer at Legacy
My wife and I stayed at the resort and played just nine holes. We are both just learning the game but felt welcome by the staff. We were paired with two singles and both were very friendly. We will come back for sure.
Too many players
We had 3 groups on almost every hole! Frustrating! Ranger agreed that tee times are too close together, no one else cared. Barely finished before dark.
Gem of a course
We’ll maintained , great greens, great views, gps and Bluetooth carts a plus
Nice Layout
Loved the course. Not sure if Legacy is crowding the tee times or if it's just the usual ignorant golfers who think they are the only ones on the course, but the round was 4:40. That is nuts.
Legacy is a old standby
If you come to Arizona to golf, you must play Legacy once. It has everything you want on a golf course. Plenty of distance from the back tees. It is not a desert-target golf course. It is more like a combo resort with trees and lots of deep bunkers like a professional country club. The greens roll nicely and the pins can be tricky in placement. The carts are new with GPS onboard. The course is in perfect shape right now. Enjoy. Nice practice facility as well as a restaurant inside next to the golf shop. Everything is very convenient.
Pricey
No Junior rates which is a bit crazy even at the twilight gold hour - cart staff were awesome - pro shop staff 50/50
Fun course to play
Great course and value
The only issue we had was the condition of the greens. Every one had multiple ball marks and bald spots.

Week of golf
Great start to our week in the desert. Challenging layout but yet forgiving . With heavy watering a few more ball washers would be nice.
