About Mountain Shadows Resort Scottsdale
Reopened in 2017, Mountain Shadows Resort is a freshly renovated and reimagined golf resort. For golfers, the centerpiece is the brand new, 18-hole par-3 course. Located in Paradise Valley between Scottsdale and Phoenix, the resort is ideally located for trips into the shopping, hiking trails and attractions of both cities. Onsite are several dining options highlighted by Hearth 61, fitness center and two outdoor pools that provide lap swimming and private cabanas for rent. The property has partnered with the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa to provide spa services. In addition to guest rooms and suites, Mountain Shadows offers residences for rent as well as ownership and membership opportunities. Guests of Mountain Shadows also have preferred access to the nearby Camelback Golf Club, home to two full-length 18-hole courses.Facts

Excellent little par 3 course in the Arizona desser
We would definitely recommend this little par 3 gem which has the most spectacular mountain backdrop.
I would recommend that you have a look at your website design as the amount of pop up adverts is putting me off leaving reviews. If these adverts continue to make the experience un likeable I won’t be leaving any more in the future. I have been literally tearing my hair out to submit this review.
Great Time to Work on Short Game
Course was in wonderful condition, throughout. Wished some tee boxes for the day had been set back more. Sand traps were in good shape too. Apart from a little slow up on two holes (ladies moved more quickly when they noticed us behind them), pace was excellent. If you can secure a round for under $40, it is a great short-game opportunity, while having fun with your buddies.
Jewel in the desert!
Mountain Shadows is so much fun and the greens are so tough! Friendly staff always make you feel like they are actually happy you are visiting. The food at Rusty’s is above average. Nice 2 hr and 15 minute round.
Tough greens, beautiful Par 3 Course
Very enjoyable par 3 course with as advertised tough undulating fast greens rolling away from Camelback Mountain. The pace of play was great until #8 when the twosome ahead of us ran into a very slow group of 4. We weren’t in a hurry, and enjoyed the round. It probably would have been a 2 hour 15 minute round if they had played at a normal pace.
Hard to avoid 3 putts on these greens.
Fun course
First timer.They don't overseed the greens. They were fast. Very challenging greens, so a 3 is just a guideline.Some border on over the top for pin placement. Good layout, good views. Great for a group and some wagers. Rack rate in season is a bit high. Would go back to correct some missed opportunities.
FUN! CHALLENGING!!
Don't let the 3-par's fool you! As ladies, we played the furthest tees and thought we'd be fine. Nope! The approaches and the greens are tricky and it was nothing to 3-putt this course! Super fun! Beautiful setting! Very friendly staff.
Fun Course
Fun 3 par course. Putting difficulties, but enjoyable. Not easy.
$128 for a par 3 course?
These guys are taking people to the woodshed at $128 for a par 3 course
