Christmas Golf
Had a great time. Just me and the wife on Christmas Day. Had the whole course to ourselves. A little windy and cold, but sunny and quiet. Our Christmas present tradition to us!
Very good conditions at Los Caballeros
This is an old school course that was in very good condition. Greens were good, layout was interesting and staff was courteous. This course needs to be played a couple of times but mostly what you see is what you get. Recommend this nice course.
Well worth the drive to play
Los Cab has always been in great condition every time I've played. Well worth the drive out of the valley. Many elevation changes into the greens, so take that into consideration for club selection. Try to stay below the hole as the greens can be slick going downhill.
Leave the crowd behind
Played a Sunday, albeit the day after their Xmas party, teed off solo at 1040, and saw maybe 5 others the whole round. Traditional layout with no forced carries, but very nice track in excellent condition. Well worth the drive out from the city for a laid back, no stress round. Staff member advised to club up if not sure approaching greens. Call ahead to kitchen from #9 tee-phone..
Real Western Feel
Played as a twosome with my son. Course was in very good shape. Liked the western feel....even a corral next to the course. Treated well & first time ever to complete 18 in under 3 hours. A bit of a drive, but not bad to get the good price.
Perfect greens and layout
Great track of golf with awesome views, great staff.
This could be one of the top 10 courses in the state of Arizona.
Great course, great staff
Love the course and the people were all very nice.
LCMD
Course in great shape, greens a bit soft but putt true.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Priced way out of my league at retail but a great deal on golf now
Los
Nice track, good variety on holes, good separation.
Finised at 4:30 pm and resturant kitchen was closed, so went elsewere for food and drink. To bad because the club house was very nice.
Beautiful Course
Course is in great shape, difficulty level is fairly high.
Worth the money.
Beautiful course and in great shape.
Well maintained, nice condition. Don't tell me how long my review should be, or I will not do any more reviews.
Great Hidden Gem
Our great day started with the very friendly staff, and continued onto a fantastic course. Interesting holes with difficult greens. Very good conditions and a nice quiet setting Worth the drive
Excellent value
The golf course is very enjoyable with interesting holes, particularly in the back nine. The course condition was good with excellent putting surface.
We played in the afternoon and finished in about 3.5 hrs.
Will return.
course has great fairways
This was the first time I played this course and it was great. I will play it again
Great course in great condition
Course was in great condition, staff was very friendly, tee time was on time with proper spacing between tee times. The couple that had joined us, this was there first time playing the course. They very much enjoyed their round. Well worth the drive. Will return to play again.
sleeper course
With all the good courses in the Phoenix area, this compares or is better than most. Well worth the drive.
Beautiful area and course. Very friendly staff. Will try to make this a part of each trip to Arizona.
A GOOD COURSE
The drive through Wickenburg is quaint which makes Los Caballeros even more charming. Clubhouse architecture is OLD WEST which adds to the overall ambiance. The course itself is in transition from summer to winter play and, as a result, the rough was long, thick and wickedly brutal. Although the fairways look open from the tee boxes, you must stay on them during this time of the season. It is a challenge but a good one just the same. Sand traps were in excellent condition. The greens were somewhat soft and slow but that should improve shortly. Lastly, the course seems to play a bit longer than the indicated yardage. The clubhouse menu is excellent and the service staff first class. You won't have second thoughts about tipping generously here.
Just Perfect
The facility had just been open for a week, but it was perfect. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The lunch was super good. I would go back in a heart beat.
Los Cab
This course is always in very good condition. It is also very challenging. Even though it's about a ninety minute drive we play it about 6-8 times a year. The food is great also. If it were closer we would play it more often.
Good bang for your buck
Greens were a little slow, ( due to opening after reseeding ) give them a week and they will be great.
