Devil’s Claw
Amazing course with phenomenal fairways. Greens were nice and soft in 100+ degree temperatures. Course is challenging as any ball out of bounds is pretty much property of the desert then. But enjoyed my round and had fun. Round included range balls. But make sure you show up 20-30 minutes prior so you can check in on time.
Fun, good value
I’d totally recommend this course. Interesting layout in the desert with no housing around it. With prices so high everywhere, the $140 was a good value.
Windy Wirlwind Round
Course set up and conditions were primo!
Our 3 some was paired with a member that was chill and very friendly! The food in the restaurant was outstanding!
Fun round
Generous landing areas off the tees.
Course in great condition
Greens were true and a perfect speed.
All in all a fun round.
Must play
The service was exceptional! Outside service was friendly and made us feel welcome. The pro shop staff was very knowledgeable and offered us tips on the course we were playing. The food and beverage staff provided great service and the food was delicious. The course was in incredible shape! The greens rolled true and the bunkers were very well maintained. It was a very enjoyable day and I would recommend playing Whirlwind to anyone.
Paradise
Perfect day of golf. Good weather, great company and very nice course condition. It seems a bit pricy but worth every dime. The course was not super busy which made the round very enjoyable. We played it in 3.5 hours. Nice touch handing out bottles of water throughout the course. Will definitely come back. Thank you.
Greens are excruciatingly slow. Always 15 degrees hotter than any other place in the valley. Back 9 always takes 3 hours to finish. Wind always howling.
Also riddled with rattlesnakes.
Great course! Lots of fun!
Courses in great shape right now! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This is the second time that I've played this course and would definitely recommend it to anyone. My only complaint is that there needs to be in Marshall out on the course. Pace of was very slow because the group in front of us was very inconsiderate. There was a two-hole gap between them and the next group, and they held up play for approximately four groups back. Could have finished that round golf in a little over 3 hours, however due to the group in front of us and no Marshall being on the course, it took us almost 6 hours.
