Hidden Gem
First time playing Wallace Adams. Wish the weather would have been better but the course was great. The map link from GolfNow did give my GPS the wrong directions. even when I was standing in the pro shop, so be careful of that.
Beautiful gem
We stopped by Ocmulgee on our way to Florida, and picked it based on reviews. We didn’t know what to expect and the green fee was very reasonable, which means that the value is huge.
The course is beautiful, the greens are perfect, and the staff welcomed us nicely.
I would love to play it again if possible.
Go try it!
Second Favorite State Park Course
Very nice course and lodge. Having now played seven of the eight State Park Courses, this is my second favorite. The only major difference between Arrowhead Pointe (my favorite) and this course is the scenery. Course was in great shape for February, and you had to make all types of shots to score. I shot 74 on a windy, but warm day. The back nine has some elevation changes, so choose the right club for the yardages. The only deterrent all day was the maintenance working pulling a blower in front of me on just about every hole on the back. Instead of starting on 18 and working backwards, for some reason this worker started on 10 and went to 18. I had to constantly wait on him to get out of the way, and he had no issue running up behind me. Other than that, totally enjoyed the course and the round.
Ga State Park Golf
Very pleased to find this gem. Green in great shape even in February. Will be back
Good course
Everything here was awesome but I have to say there was one cart guy who just a jerk i don’t know if he hates his job but he made me not want to come back.
Little...I think NOT!
Wow....slot if bang for the buck. Bug Greens and wide fairways. Little if everything from dog legs left and right, elevated tees and greens, shirt and long par 3 and what a beautiful piece of property..
Gas carts and really the most friendly staff!
Truely a hidden jewel!
ENJOY, I'll be back!
Nice Layout
Very nice course with no homes around it. I have found the Georgia golf courses in their state parks are in good condition and are a good value.
In addition the staff in the pro shop are very friendly.
Nice Course
Played this course with son in law and grandson. Had a great time. Well kept and challenging enough but playable for novice players.
Always Solid
Best course around for my money. Always well kept, never too crowded.
Looks great, slow greens
The course looks good., Putts wouldn’t roll down a hill though
Beautiful
Very good layout
The few holes facing clubhouse were without tree leafs but holes in the backs were not clean unfortunately making pretty hard to find our balls
We did not used the amenities except the campground on which the restrooms were not cleaned at all during ours full stays, making showers and toilets very grossed
Winter condition
Lots of leaves on the ground
They should blow them away at least few times in a week, most likely only few holes are done as they are there mktg holes
Best in South Georgia
I have played many courses in South Ga. This course is the best condition and overall value.
