Excellent Value
If you make a day out of it, it’s the best value in the state. If you get a hot deal on GolfNow you and replay for 25 dollars you can play 2 times for less than 80 dollars. That value at this course is unbeatable
Nice Course but...
Let me preface this comment with the fact that it was my first time playing this course, it was 2 days after a hard rain, cart part only and the day before Easter so it was packed. It is a nice course, nice layout but I did not enjoy this course as much as I thought I would given the reviews and rankings. I liked the GPS on the carts and the extra 19th hole. The fairways and greens were not not up to par and the wildlife was substandard for an Audubon course. But I do plan to play again and will put this in the rotation of Lake Charles area course just behind a couple course with less of a drive.
First timer
I am new to the area, I figured I’d check the course out. For the price you cannot beat it. Although, when I arrived the lady at the front desk seemed to Be offended that I showed up early for my tee time. She acted like I should’ve known before hand at the driving range is closed. She seemed annoyed. The weather was crappy and this course was soaking wet. The staff was not responsible for this obviously. I was actually quite surprised that they allowed people to play after playing the first hole. I look forward to coming back when the weather is nice. Would definitely recommend for anybody to at least check out. We’ll be back.
Koasati Pines
The staff was very friendly, the pace was good. The only thing was that it was cart path only due to the course being wet. This is no fault to course. I enjoyed my round.
Bad course
The course was way too wet. Due to the wetness of the ground the driving range was not open at all and you’ve had to leave your cart on the cart path only on ever hole. A normal divot when taking a shot would leave you all muddy and dirty due to the saturation.
Fun course to play
We enjoyed playing here last weekend even with soggy condition due to ongoing rain for the past few weeks. This is one of my favorite courses to play, just beautiful layout, fun fairway and excellent green. I wish the course Marshal be a little more friendlier!
Koasati Pines Course
Great golf course. Even with lots of rain Course very playable
A Louisiana Gem!!!!!
Let me start by saying that there are not enough 'stars" to rate the professionalism of the golf staff. From the minute I stepped foot into the pro shop, Emily welcomed me, asked for my tee time, and told me that the beverage cart service was not available, so be sure to load up the ice chest with beverages from the grill because of the hot temps! The last time I was treated this nice was at a 5-star resort in Orlando! The course was in amazing shape, the greens held approach shots and putted true. The golf carts are equipped with touch screen range finders that were dead-on the correct yardage to the pin. This course is about 30 minutes north of I-10 in Kinder, and is well worth the drive from anywhere in south Louisiana. I'd have to say this is definitely a TOP 3 course in our state!
Course In great shape as always. Staff friendliest around. Always love playing here. Worth the drive!!
Awesome as usual.
Course was in great shape. I even played well other then some poor desicions on club selection. Worth the trip no matter how far. Was a 40 min drive for me.
Amazing
This place is always on point. Have been coming here from Houston for 10-12 years. No from home understands till they play here.
Always great
Nice personnel. AWSOME driving range and practice putting greens were about the same speed as course greens. Always have a great time here. Almost all holes are fronted by bunkers. They went up on the walk up price, so if u don't use this app, u could be paying around 93.00 for a round.
Great Course with nice layout don’t miss!
I have played this Course when passing thru and it is always well maintained and with a friendly staff.
Plenty of challenges with length, water and Bunkers.
Nice little surprise at the end if you want to play the 10th hole which is a par 3 island green!
Sounds like you chose to play on a day that was entirely to wet. A day that a man like your self may not enjoy!
