Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth
About Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth
The Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth is located in the historic town housing Plymouth Rock at the gateway to the Cape. The 50-room French manor house combines the amenities of a world-class spa, elegant dining and the privacy and service of living on an estate. The inn and spa buildings are decorated by monet ponds gardens and warm landscaping reminiscent of the countryside near Paris. Mirabeau, loosely translated as “reflected beauty”, is adjacent to the Jack Nicklaus course at the Pinehills Golf Club. The Pinehills golf community is also home to a Rees Jones course, forming one of the top 36-hole clubs in New England. Historic Plymouth is a great destination for families with Plimoth Plantation, museums, monuments, whale watching, horseback riding, dinner cruises, fishing, boating and sightseeing.Facts

Perfection
From tee to green this place is pristine. The views are spectacular. It feels like a country club the moment you enter.
5 star facility!
Pinehills Is easily the premier public facility if New England.
Let’s start with the amenities. Spacious and locker room, with private showers and fresh towels for the public to use. There’s nothing better than taking a hot shower to relax the muscles and get cleaned up after a round of golf and heading into the restaurant or pub.
The practice facility is incredible. Your greens fee covers the use of the entire practice area which includes the range, as well as several putting greens and chipping areas with bunkers. Though they have a massive grass teeing area, the mats are used much more often than not.
The layout is fantastic. The course offers multiple tees to choose from, and while the fairways are wide, there is plenty trouble to get into with waste areas, bunkers and long fescue and large ravines spread about. The conditions are pristine. Fairways are plush, the rough is think and juicy and the greens while receptive roll fast and true.
One last feature that’s quite a treat is the GPS systems in each golf cart. They are incredibly detailed and provide the ability to tap the screen to select random distances as well as pinpoint yardages to each flag. They even offer the ability to see slope on and around each green.
While the greens fee may be steeper than many, the value is incredible here at Pinehills.
Great!
I Loved the Course! And more. Important I really Love a great Practice area and This Course was amazing!!
Great course
Enjoyed playing the Jones track was in good shape for early May starter was very nice gives you a bottle of water but when the price goes up to $125 I don’t think it’s worth that kind of money
First Time Back in a While - Meh
After playing there I just can't reconvile our experience with the majority of reviews. The fairways and greens don't seem to have woken up yet resulting in tight lies everywhere and and really slippery greens. Both greens and fairways had more of yellow tint than green. Hopefully it will get better when it finally warms up. Hadn't played Jones in a while and the development has really exploded. Before you felt like you were in the woods playing a round, now you feel like you are in a development on alot of the holes. Layout is beautiful with many really nice holes. Facility has great practice facilities. Starter was really friendly. Winds didn't help, especially when trying to putt on the really tight greens. Above the hole and you were done. Even with the Hot Deal, the value just wasn't there. Maybe in another month.
Special place
Jones course is a beautiful,,very challenging golf course. Pace of play unfortunately was pathetic from a group that was playing in front of us with no ranger in sight. Because of that it was difficult to get in any rhythm. Besides that, we had a really good time and the food was spectacular.
First time, won’t be the last
This is by far, the best course I’ve played in Massachusetts. Staff was friendly, answered questions clearly and were helpful. Arrived for my 11 am tee time at 10. Cart crew grabbed my bag, loaded it onto a cart and brought it to the practice range while I checked in. Range is stellar. The hitting mats feel like turf. The short game and putting areas are amazing. The bar staff/pro shop attendant was courteous. The starter gave us a bottle of water and a little insight into the course.
The course is tough, but fun. Greens, even though aerated recently, ran true. Bunkers were actual sand unlike some courses in Massachusetts.
Definitely will be playing here again. 11/10 if I could rate it that high
