Recently played the course with the Safari Club and had an enjoyable experience. Great spring conditions throughout the course. Enjoyable time if you can keep the ball in the short grass.

I played with the Safari group that day with over 100 players and the staff and pro shop were there for our every need.

This is an outstanding golf course with its unique design and in fantastic shape. The greens were fast and had many challenges .

Played here last week with the Safari Club. Much different set up due to major renovations going on. That, and the wet conditions made it less enjoyable then past years, but will look forward to seeing it again when the construction is over.

Really conflicted about this review. The staff and the atmosphere are great. They are so incredibly friendly and attentive. It's a great way to start your round.

I loved the front 9. Classic resort style golf. Rather wide open fairways in really nice condition. The course is pretty short and there are lots of birdie opportunities. The greens were in great shape. The front 9 flows nicely through the property.

I didn't enjoy the back 9 as much. It starts with the layout. The fairways tighten up a lot (which is fine given the length), but some of the holes seem like they were carved out of the land without any real work. In particular, 13-17 were not the best lineup of holes (I particularly didn't like 13). More importantly, the greens on the back side are silly. They slope severely from back to front, seemingly on every single hole. You have to keep the ball below the hole.

The two nines were so different from each other that I just kept thinking to myself that it was one of the more schizophrenic golf courses I have ever played.

I'd go back, though. Great value. Great people. Good conditions. Cant complain!

What a nice course. The layout flows, so you often feel like you have the course to yourself. Love the greens...tough but fair.

Worth the ride.

On a beautiful May morning we drove from the Springfield area to Lennox, Mass to play Cranwell....This course set in the Berkshires will give you all you can handle...It winds through several neighborhoods offering a mix of challenging holes...

The greens were fast and the rough long...so finding the fairway is essential...

Enjoy a pleasant ride up the Mass Pike to an enjoyable day of golf at Cranwell!

Played here on 5/23 with the Safari Club. Course was in excellent shape throughout. A very challenging layout. Staff was very well organized for our large group of over 100 players. All around enjoyable day.

Another good one. Why do we play all the very good courses? Because we want to. The Safari club always had a good course to play every week and this is by far a good one.

Played again with the Safari Golf Club on a very nice day. The course was in excellent condition, beautiful to look at, with some terrific scenic views of surrounding hills. The staff is always very courteous and helpful. Good time had by all. Also good food and cold beer in restaurant or outside with view of the course.

Played the course with the Safari Club and enjoyed both the course and company. Course plays longer than the card yardage with several approach shots to raised greens. Course was in top-notch shape as well as the staff. Can't wait to play it again.

Hello. My wife and I are took a vacation at this resort. I chose this resort because of the golf amenities. I’m very saddened by the conditions of the greens on this golf course and don’t understand how management can have these greens in such poor condition! I don’t believe that management enjoys the game or has anything to do with Golf because there is no way that they would allow these greens to be in this condition! The greens are very soft and slow! You can clearly see that they Haven’t been thatched And they obviously don’t get double cut. I am disappointed that I’m spending my vacation dollars here and wish I had done a better job with reviewing this golf course prior to committing to my stay here! Pitiful

I played this course with the Safari Club recently. Can't say enough about the physical beauty of the course, conditions, and layout. I did think the restaurant was overpriced and although there wer a lot of waitresses walking by us, it was very confusing to know who would wait on us. All in all, a very nice course to play.

Played this last week with the Safari Club. Very enjoyable day. Course was in excellent condition from tee to green. Staff was very organized and couldn't have been more accommodating. Given the large group that we had, and the difficulty of the course, the pace of play was excellent.

This place is plush with an extra P. Plays a lot longer then yardage indicates. Above the hole you will suffer. Nice views and conditions.

Member # 19 I played the course. With the Safari club and had a great time course was in great shape. The greens are a real challenge to read but play very true. Have played it many times and have always enjoyed it.

Our annual pilgrimage to Cranwell was well worth it..Love coming here because the conditions are always tip top...Word to the wise....Stay below the hole

Played the course with the Safari Golf group yesterday (5/24/17). Course was in peak condition and offers a challenge to any golfer. Word of advise - "Keep the ball below the hole". A friendly and efficient staff is part of the experience with a beautiful setting in the Berkshires. Encourage any and all golfers in the area or out of State to play this gem.

Good outing with the Safari Club. The course was in pretty good shape. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Had a grate day.
