value
Nice course. Expensive but good value on golfnow discount.
Great Course
One of my favorite courses in the Ann Arbor Area. For this early in the season the course was in great condition. Can't wait till early summer when it's at its best.
Nice course with great view
Located on the side of Ford Lake.
Great view and nice price to play a little bit challenging course.
has it all!
Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. The course was in very good shape. We had a lot of fun. Eagle Crest has it all.
One of the best in the state
As far as beauty, and overall experience, Eagle Crest is one of the top public courses in the state of Michigan. Located in Ypsilanti, home of Eastern Michigan University and a 10 minute drive from Ann Arbor, home of University of Michigan. Perfect for every occasion, even a weekend stay at the Eagle Crest resort.
Early Bird got the worm !
The course was surprisingly playable .One would think a green would have no roll given our brutal winter! Not the case at Eagle crest was great. The coming year brings promise I can't wait to play again.
Great Course
This was the first time we played here and we were not disappointed.Nice greens and faiways. The staff was very friendly. The view from the driving range was pretty cool. We'll play it some more.
Hot deal
I played this course on a hot deal. Beautiful course and it only cost me 11 bucks to walk 18. I got my first ace on the shot par 3. Ended spending more money on the drinks I owed than I did on the course itself!
Best course in SE Michigan for the money
Challenging track with lightning greens, beautiful scenery, and friendly staff. I can't say enough about this track. A must play!
My Favorite
Eagle Crest has long been my favorite course to play, and at $19 was an absolute steal. The changes that they have made and are yet to finish will further enhance the beauty and challenge of this awesome course.
A true gem in the Ann Arbor area
This is a beautiful course. I am writing this review in mid October so for fall golf this course is the best around. The best greens I have putted on since the private courses I have played. Usually expensive to play here but if you get a hot deal it well worth the wait. Had a pretty long wait on the back but it was probably the last nice day for golf so it was understood. If you have never played here before you really should check it out. Golf at it's finest
Challenging course that has it all!
Beautiful track with scenic views of Ford Lake. Very fast greens, must bring your A game to score well. One the best I've played!
Course in great shape.
Liked it... Some great views of the lake. I'll be back
Tough track for the first timer
Course knowledge is essential to scoring well at this course.Must be in proper area of the fairway and the proper tier of the green to stand a chance of scoring well. Overall had a great time.
Lovely course - Super nice staff.
My husband (the better golfer) & I always enjoy playing this course. It is easy to get to (right off I-94). Although it is close to a main highway, you would never know it. The course is expertly maintained and the surrounding woods and beautiful Ford Lake view is a feast for the eyes. The course is moderate, but some holes can be very challenging - especially for a newbie golfer like me. The staff are very attentive and always try to accommodate your needs. We enjoy playing this course whenever we get the chance.
this is great course.
This is must play course in this area.don't miss out.very nice course.have fun.
Course in great condition
Eaglecrest had very fast greens. Well maintained and a challenging layout
Nice Track
Great Course , played many times. Greens Great , Staff Awesome , they need to do work on the T boxes. They were beat up a little.
A must play course
Eagle Crest is one of the nicest courses in or around the Metro Detroit area. The course is well maintained and very scenic. The views of Ford Lake on the back nine are spectacular. Like everyone else says the greens are very fast and challenging--many are severely sloped and some are two-tiered. It is a real challenge just to stop the ball within a few feet of the hole on most of the greens so be prepared.
After playing a number of the courses available on GolfNow.com, I have tried to narrow down the courses I really want to play and this is one of them. If you can get 18 holes in the $19-$25 range for this course it's an absolute steal compared to a number of other courses in the area.
Fast Greens
For he most part a very straight forward course. There was not one hole where I struggled on where I should be placing the tee shot. Ford lake offered some great views, enough trees and reasonably forgiving. The greens were fast and rolled awesome. I blew a few by the hole, but they also allowed for some holed putts at distances I usually don't make with a shorter stroke. Only cons... Enough people out there that didn't have the ability to play this course. Had to pass two groups and yardage markers were odd or missing.
