Eagle Crest
I like playing here. Always a good challenge. But it was really slow this time...had to wait on several holes. No ranger checking on pace of play.
And I really really wish the course would find a way to keep hole #2 clear of all the goose crap. Chipping, standing in, putting around goose crap on hole #2 is always bad. Find some way to keep the geese away from this green.
Best course I've played
Live right by this course but hardly play due to price and I'm a beginner golfer. I played 18 here and it's amazing. Despite being a difficult course the conditions makes it "easy" to hit good shots. I will be back once I get better. Love the driving range with actual targets.
A Gorgeous course
A gorgeous course with some great golf scenery. A little challenging but also a course you can score on. Greens were in great shape and the staff was very friendly. A little pricey at close to a $100 to play on the weekend. Seems all courses are raising their rates. It did come with a bucket of range balls.
over book
j paid for 18 but only got to do 9 it’s was back up and it was getting dark, they shouldn’t offer a 6:10pm tee off for 18 when it’s back up like that
This Eagle Soars
From the tee boxes through the fairways and on the greens the course was in excellent shape. As loathe as I am to admit the bunkers are also in great playing condition.
Nice course for the weekday price
Good layout, nice views, some construction on course which doesn't look nice. Price is good during the week, weekend rates($97) not worth it especially with a few holes under construction
Slow
Pace of play was horrible. 7/30, 410 tee time and we were only teeing off at 12, at 750pm. Not worth the full price after 3pm, should have been twilight rate. Would not come back because of that reason.
Play as early as possible
Ideally, the first hour of the days tee times.
Fun and challenging. Lots of water and interesting shots to play. Maybe don't hit driver and listen to the GPS they have installed on the carts.
Course is tough. Blind tee shots and big, bendy greens. Course gets slow from how difficult the layout is. If you play early, you have a better chance of getting around in a good amount of time.
Don't play twilight. That was my previous experience with the course and I didn't play it again for a year.
Great place to play golf in Michigan
Eagle Crest is a beautiful golf course with a nice balance of difficulty that both skilled and less skilled golfers should enjoy. The course is impeccably maintained, tee to green. Some of its elevated tees with their magnificent views of Ford Lake are simply stunning. There is no better way to spend a hot July day, than 18 holes at Eagle Crest, with the breezes blowing in from the lake.
Amazing Course!
This is a gorgeous course and it's in pristine shape. One of the better public courses I have played.
