Hawk’s Eye Golf Resort

Played for third straight year.Greens rollef well as did fairways.Coursr has nice views and elevation changes. GO play but do not use Golf Now mapping directions.

Took almost 6 hours to play. Way too slow to enjoy rather good course.

Spring course conditions were very good. Green really nice for beginning of season.

I picked Hawk's Eye as a last minute/play on the way home venue for our year end golf trip. Now I find myself planning our 2017 trip around playing this course again! Each person in our 12 player group thought it was the best course we played all weekend (and we played The Legend just two days before!). Was a wet morning with a little drizzle at the beginning of play but we stuck it out and the course held up nicely.

Hawk's eye is one of my favorite courses in Michigan. Every year, my golf league takes an up north golf trip and this is a course we always make sure to play!

The layout of this course is spectacular that is surrounded by beautiful scenery on every hole. Expect visually appealing, dramatic elevation changes that will test all of your skills. Once on the putting green, be careful not to three putt, because Hawk's eye's greens are perfectly maintained and lightning quick.

Great layout! Fun course to play and conditions were good. Ranger was out and monitored pace of play, something you don't always see. Lots of elevation changes made for some challenging shots. Would definitely make this a must play if you're in the area. Player tip: if you have an uphill green and think you have enough club, go back and add another!! And you will have plenty of uphill approaches!!

Nice experience and course is good shape with a few bunker issues here and there. Greens were medium fast and true. Course starts with typical resort feel holes and gets better and better especially the back 9. Has a mountain course aspect on the back 9 for sure with a lot of uphill and downhill shots with beautiful views. Great deals on website and good value course. Would play again for sure.

We love this place, everything about it is fabulous! The course is spectacular, awesome views and the staff rocks!! We play there a lot!

The course is amazing with challenges on every hole. Great views from the elevations. It's unfortunate that some golfers think that taking all the time in the world to watch their buddies practice swings and look for balls is their prerogative but when groups are stacking up that's when it loses its luster. Like most courses I experience there are no rangers or they don't know how to manage golfers pace of play but the impact results in rounds taking up to an hour longer like we experrinced.

The course was play empty and the person behind the counter indicated that was the new normal. What a shame!!!

Few courses can beat me like this one did. From the back tees, I was thoroughly whipped. The course was beautiful, had a great layout, but was hard. The fairways were deceptively narrow in landing areas, guarded by woods, tall grass, and significant sloping.

At times the course bordered on unfair, but never got there. This will test the integrity of your game and force you to hit shots you likely don't practice that often.

Go play it!

Course is spread out (almost no side by side holes) with beautiful scenery. A lot of sand traps!

Not a lot of workers at course on our day of play..manager said it's been hard to find workers who want to work.

What a greay course. Definitely an up north beauty with elevation changes and great views on interesting holes.

Me and friends rented out the condos at Shanty Creek for a weekend getaway and we played the Hawks Eye on Saturday and the course was amazing from the greens, to the fairways, rough and the scenery. Bit challenging with some hidden shots but overall what a fun course to play!!! Definitely put it on your list for up north golf!

The course was in really good shape. The greens were consistent, and the staff was friendly. A great place to play a round of golf!

Weather was great, course was beautiful.

Played in great conditions at a great pace of play at a great golf course. What more could you ask for. Only criticism would be pin positions were not clear and varied from what graphics on card indicated. Other than that, it's a go back destination.

The course is a great example of a resort course. It's not just this course but almost every course you play. The players don't take care of the course. There were large divots all over the fairways that were not repaired or even an attempt to repair. The same goes for the greens, plenty of ball marks not repaired. It's a shame as this is a beautiful course that's worthy of playing over and over.
