Zehnder's Splash Village Hotel & Waterpark

There must have been or there was going to be some kind of tournament at the course, because the PINs were all in impossible places to get too. It was like playing the day after a 4 man scramble tough hole tournament. I am a single digit handicap player and it was not enjoyable even for me to play to PINs tucked away like they were.

Played on May 28th. Got out early as I had family here with me! Course was simply excellent. Greens were tour quality. Maintenance staff were courteous and friendly. Pro was very nice also. Had just a great time. Price was a little high for me but the overall experience was worth it. i think the price goes down to $70 during the week which is fair. Play it if you are in the area!!

Even tho it was a blustery chilly day! The course was gorgeous and amenities beyond expectations! From amazing young kids getting your bags to the incredible markers as you played! The starter best we’ve met in our journey’s!

The Fortress is an outstanding golf course. Very well manicured. REALLY nice greens....good speed and, more importantly, consistent speed between greens. As usual, golfers could be a little better job fixing pitch marks. The staff is friendly and the starter did a fantastic job getting everyone on the course in a timely manner. I always look forward to playing this golf course.

Excellent course greens rolled true and held when you hit a good shot into them. Cart girls were very friendly as well as the starter

I would be hard pressed to find a better course anywhere near the golfnow price I paid! My home course had an outing, so I booked at 7:30am and teed off at 9:00am. I was paired up with 2 seniors and we had a great time. We did quite a bit of searching for balls due to the difficulty of the course coupled with the wind on this day, but our round was still 4 hours at a very relaxed pace. I highly recommend looking at this course when in the area!

Overall a great experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Kyle took a few minutes as I was paying to let me know the features and local rules for the course. That doesn't happen all of the time these days. Played with 2 others that had booked tee times as singles and had an enjoyable round. Course can be quite challenging if your game is off a little. Greens have a lot of undulations so proximity to the pin on approach is key. Definitely would play again.
