Just finished playing this course, and wow—it is absolutely beautiful! From the incredible staff to the amazing course, the entire experience was fantastic. The views throughout the course are hard to beat! If you’re heading up the North Shore, I highly recommend making a stop to play here. Already looking forward to coming back and playing it again!

Superior National was AWSOME. The views were absolutely insane and the staff were so so friendly. The course was in great condition for being September. Pace of play was great as we never waited on a tee box and finished within 4 hours. This would be a great trip for a family golf trip or special outing! I loved playing here and would definitely recommend!

Our group does a fall Golf trip and Superior National was one of the courses on our list for this year. Course was in excess shape and the signature holes lived up to their billing.

Wonderfull time on a crisp sunny day!

This was our first time playing Superior National and it was an amazing time. The layout is absolutely stunning with incredible views of Lake Superior. The course was in great condition and the greens rolled very smoothly. A majority of the holes are a great mix of fun and difficulty. We played in a day with high winds which made the course much more challenging, but it also made the round more enjoyable. The staff are incredibly friendly and the clubhouse has everything. We travel to North Shore a handful of times a year and will start making a round at Superior National part of every trip.

Course is in excellent shape other than whole four or five I can't remember now the green is pretty messed up, but with the new owners that took over a couple weeks ago they have big plans on making this course even better than what it is

Superior National Golf Course is a fun course to play with many fun holes across the Poplar River.

Fabulous course great layout wonderful staff. fantastic day. Can't wait to play it again. Worth the drive from washington state.

Course was fine. Mataya was SUPER helpful!. Golfnow booked us twice for our one tee time. We cannot contact Golfnow. The older lady with a Bob cut in the clubhouse was very rude. Mataya saw that indeed we were charged twice (as was a foursome right before us) so she booked us for second tee time on the next day. We will not use golfnow again unless they contact us to fix this.

While visiting Gran Marais, we found Superior National and gave it a shot. Overall a very good experience. Not long but with the wind off the lake the percieved distance was close to 6700 yards. Natural beauty of the couse was spectacular particularly the Canyon 9. Would play again if I'm every back in the region. Staff are great!

Everything was great. I arrived too early for my tee time and decided to have lunch. I ordered from the short order kitchen and was happy with my pizza. Checked in early to get a bucket and warm up but the starter warned that I would be a single behind several foursomes and offered me an immediate tee if I could go quickly. Such a smart offer and great set up. The river/canyon set was amazing. Such a beautiful course layout and fun design. Too many holes to describe but canyon 17 is worth every dollar you spend here. I drove a day and a half to get there and already talking my wife into coming back next summer. If you’re close you can’t beat it for the views and course conditions. We enjoyed our annual outing to Superior National. It's a spectacular place to play on a beautiful summer day.
