Worst cart paths ever!
Hey, it’s winter! Yardage markers are here and there, greens in tough shape, zoysia grass all brown and won’t hold the ball but otherwise it was only $15.00. Thanks tee off!
Booking tee time
The course is good to play but the phone is always on voice mail and it' full. If you try to book on line, you have to pay for all the players instead of holding the tee time and have the player pay when they get to the course.
So I haven't played since and doesn't look like I will be playing again if I can't book and pay when I get there.
Not worth full price.
The cart paths are horrendous, some of the staff are rude and the price you pay for 18 holes is way too much for this course. Do not recommend. SO many better courses to play.
South 55 value
Good value. Golf staff is friendly n more then willing to help. Greens n good shape.
Oak Valley GC
Great course, great staff. wonderful clubhouse and banquet hall. Highly recommended
Oak Valley
Great course beautiful club house. Highly recommend
Course in Great Shape for December
The course was in great shape for December golf! The staff was very friendly and the fairways played well. The only criticism would be that the greens were ridiculously slow. It seemed as though they hadn’t been rolled in weeks.
Great sand traps
Course continues to improve. Nice new sand in all traps.
Slow greens
Good value under $25. Greens are horrendously slow.

Course needs attention
Played the course for the first time and found the lay-out good, the staff friendly, but the course itself needs work. Teeboxes have overgrown grass, almost like teeing up in the light rough, Lots of bare patches of dirt versus grass in the fairway. Greens are in good shape considering its fall, but are playing quite slow with bumps that make reading a putt difficult. Would play again in the spring.
Hello! Thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. We will make note and we hope to see you back at Oak Valley Golf Course & Resort!
Solid and fun course
Made the trip down south of the city to play Oak Valley. It was a fun course to play that, given the fall time of the year, was in solid but not great shape. Was told it was bought out a few years ago by new ownership that is slowly putting in improvements.
The tee boxes were good while the fairways (and rough) were solid but patchy in some places. There were areas of bare dirt and mud in others. The greens were strong but a little fuzzy, slow and had a lot of unrepaired ball marks. The cart path was good in some places but pretty uneven in other places.
When we were teeing off on No. 5, we almost got hit by two approach shots on No. 2 that flared wide right! So pay attention when you are on that tee box. After the ninth hole, you have to travel a pretty good distance to get to the back nine. The last couple of holes overlook the river and is a nice little setting coming home.
If I could, I’d probably rate this course 3-1/2 stars but it is an enjoyable track so I bumped it up to four stars.
Thank you for reviewing us. We see you rated the course 3-stars and are interested in learning what we can do to improve before your next round. Don't use Golfnow to book tee times.
Trying to get a raincheck from this place is a joke. I have called Golfnow and was told to create account. Called back and was told there would be a credit on my account. Still no credit and need to call again. Very difficult to understand what the guy on the phone was saying also. The 6 holes I got to play seemed awesome, so I will try to get my credit and play again.
Course Maintenance
Course needed mowed and greens were in horrible shape. Showed up for my tee time only to find out they had booked another double for the same time.
