Black Butte Ranch

This was my birthday golf outing. Took my wife, son and his wife. Was a great day, played well

It has been one year since a 3.5 mil $ revision and Glaze Meadow is phenomenal. The course is beautifully maintained with lush fairways and rough that will slow your ball if it is headed off the fairway. The greens have primary, secondary and tertiary rough: all perfectly maintained. They are rolling dead true. The bunkers are well located with even depth sand. There is only one other course in Central Oregon with better maintenance and that is Pronghorn. Gp and play this course. It is spectacular!!

Continually improving course since renovations several years ago. Never grow tired of the magnificent views from a well-maintained and well-paced course. This place is a don't miss and plan on playing more than once!

Black Butte is a treasure. Both courses are outstanding.

Big Meadows course at Black Butte was great! Beautiful mountain views, good running greens in difficult placement, well maintained fairways and an all around fun time

The guy in the clubhouse was very friendly and helpful. He told me about some upcoming deals and was very friendly. The course was in great shape. Greens were pretty quick for this early in the season. Very easy walk. Can't wait to go back!

very relaxing day; a little slow but the pace is set for about 4 hours so it's still pretty quick. Very scenic holes, excellent conditions of the greens. Overall an easy resort course more for relaxation than challenge

fine print does not include mandatory cart fee (even if wanting to walk) and mandatory caddy plus of course tip. We were NOT happy about all the hidden fees and the clerks said they hear that all the time.

best course I played this year and I played emerald valley and elkhorn valley and a few more courses in oregon. Weather was great and I havent seen a more manicured course anywhere. the greens were perfect and the ball washers (on every hole ) were full with soap and water and towel. had an excellent time the food at the pub was great and no matter my score can not wait to go back !!!!!

This is right up there with the best courses I have ever played. The fairways were well groomed and even the roughs were great to play out of. I now understand when the commentators on the PGA tour shows are talking about when they say the greens are hard to hold. It took some getting used to playing such firm greens. But they were still fantastic! People told me it is the best course in Oregon and now I believe them!

A nice resort course lined with trees. If your a little wild off the tee like me you can bounce a few balls of the cabins.

The Big Meadow course at Black Butte Ranch is an exceptional course that ranks as a 'must play' course. The layout is deceptively simple with fairway bunkers that seem to float on top of the green when they are really 50 yards away. The greens usually run around 10.5 and are immaculate. The staff is friendly. You will see the course ranger/marshall several times during your round and they are always there to assure timely play. After a great round, go and have a local award winning microbrew and some great food. Great place for a golf weekend for the guys/girls and fantastic family fun with all amenities including world class horse stables and trail rides!

When in Central Oregon, Black Butte Big Meadow is a must play. The course was in exceptional shape and was very pleasing to the eye. Every hole was manicured perfectly and the richness of the grass really popped. The greens ran smooth, true, and quick. No gimmicks to the greens, just read it and putt. The staff was friendly in the club house and very helpful on the first tee and through the round. Pace of play was right at four hours walking with four golfers. I prefer courses that let me walk and this is one of those where green to tee is meant to be walked.
