This and Oaks are always in great shape and staff is super nice. Great value/experience for the money.
Enjoyable For All Skill Levels, Must Play!!!
We’ve came here almost every year and expect great and receive great. Course difficulty is average with some troubles in your way but is great to play especially the 2 finishing holes!
Fun, challenging course
Great course. It is a semi private course the opens up sometime on Golf Now. course is challenging but still can allow for the average player to shoot low. Overall probably one of the better courses for the money.
All Around Good
Course never is a let down. Get a gem for the Golf Now price! Plan to play there as long as the price is right!
Great golf course for a reasonable price.
The course was in good shape except the bunkers. They need major work, however, it had been raining a lot in recent weeks.
Except for the course being wet, We had a great time. No waiting on tee boxes.Drinking cart available all time
Good deal on golf now
Great price if you can handle the heat. Tee boxes are ok and fairways are great. Greens are grainy and recovering from being punched a few weeks ago. Plenty of drinking water around the course and the cart girl was around every 45 minutes to an hour. Good stuff.
Only complaint: Got stuck behind a slow foursome that had no one in front on them. No marshall around until the back nine and they just waived and drove on. A marshall that either sped them up or let us play through would've been nice. Took almost 5 hours to play when there wasn't a lot of people playing at that time of day.
Hot! Hot! Heat!
The greens were punched over a week ago but played just fine. The chance to play here through golf now is worth it, if you can stand the heat.
What a great golf course!
Panther Trails, I believe, was formerly called the North Course. The greens had undergone sanding and aerification, and as a result I was offered a deal. The course was in good shape. A couple of the bunkers were poor, but they are about to replace them all. The staff is truly incredible. Panther is one of the two resort courses, so off-course amenities are top notch.
DAY AT THE OAKS
JUNIOR TOURNAMENT ON PANTHER TRAIL (SISTER COURSE TO THE OAKS). TEE TIME WAS FOR PANTHER TRAIL. PRO SHOP MOVED US TO THE OAKS, NEVER PALYED BEFORE. COURSE IS IN GREAT SHAPE EVEN THOUGH THEY ARRIATED RECENTLY. ROUGH IS AS DEEP AND DIFFICULT TO PLAY OUT OF AS ANY OTHER COURSE IN THE HOUSTON AREA. BUNKERS WERE UNDER CONSTRUCTION, SO THEY WERE NOT PLAYABLE. NUMBER 16 (PAR 5) WAS BEING REPAIRED FROM RECENT FLOODING, SO IT PLAYED AS A PAR 3. CART GIRL WAS VERY BUSY WITH THE JUNIOR TOURNAMENT. ONLY SAW HER TWICE DURING ROUND. TEMPS WERE HIGH 90's WITH HIGH HUMIDITY. NEEDED MORE CART GIRL.
Panther Golf Course
NIce and challenging. Had to pick your drives and some of your shots. Greens in great shape and rolled true. I will come back to play this course again.
Exceptional customer service and a great practice facility.
The layout is fun with some very challenging greens. I'd love to play here on a consistent basis.
Off Path Would Have Been Better
Rain quite a bit just preceding out tee time resulting in a cart path only condition. No one can control the weather and this was truly the only complaint I had about the course
Fairways and greens are nice
Once you find it the course is worth the trip.
Great course, hate fees
I played this course several years and enjoyed it and couldn't wait to play it again. I wasn't disappointed. The only down side was the booking fees.
The young lady at the counter was unfriendly and not helpful being that it was my first time there. Regardless, the course is amazing. I played Panther trail. The greens are immaculate. A top-notch Woodlands course. Kudos to the crew.
