About Bryce Resort
Bryce Resort is a ski and golf property located in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley about 110 miles from Washington D.C. There is no official lodging for the resort, which relies on directing visitors to a handful of area accommodation partners from hotel rooms to villas and cabin rentals. Fantastic place for a family reunion!
We all met here and played for three straight days and had a blast! My younger brother got the family trophy shooting 72 on the final day! Super nice people and fantastic course in wonderful shape! Very playable....a few tight holes but all in all you can bomb it off the tee.
Excellent Course
Getting to the actual course is where the fun begins. I didn’t know if I was along side Harrison Ford in his quest to find the Holy Grail or looking for a golf course. It is not a typical drive BUT once there it is worth the effort. Staff is great, course is a challenge but fair and in great shape, Did I mention the staff was very attentive and helpful. First time, but won’t be the last time at this phenomenal course.
Course and staff are great!
This course is great. In great shape every time we go. I also left my range finder and they very kindly sent it to me promptly.
Best Course in Va
Played yesterday with my crew from Richmond. Been telling my guys about this place. It didn't disappoint. Course is immaculate, greens fast, new rough areas challenging. They are really raising their game.
Maintenance crew are friendly and respectfully. Greens were fast and true. They take care of the small stuff too.
Love this area!
Great Find!
Play Bryce for the first time a couple of days ago and it was awesome! The course is in amazing condition and they even post the green speed in the golf shop!
Course is old school and a good challenge. Pace of play was great, we got done in three and a half hours. They have a cool grill/restaurant at the turn with really good paninis.
Golf shop has to be one of the best in Virginia. It's new with cool gear and great staff.
Put this place on your calendar, you'll be glad you did.
Course is in great shape
This is a very deceptive course! It appears very straightforward and easy but don’t let looks deceive you. It is a very challenging course! It wore both my husband and myself out. That won’t stop us from trying it again sometime 😊
Fun place to play and stay
Course I’m in great shape! The maintenance crew is awesome!!! Easy recovery it you find trouble…lol!
Food choices need a little help!
But overall…the Bryce team is GREAT AND APPRECIATED
Beautiful Surroundings
Course was in great shape. Traps were maintained but not “fluffy”. Just below the surface it was compacted sand, but could be due to the amount of rain in the area in the days.
This is not a “Driver” course. Most holes I was hitting to comfortable distances from the tee box. 3-wood or 4 hybrid off of most of the par 4s.
The scenery is fantastic. Creek running through the entire course with mountains all around you. Don’t get lost going to the back 9. The only negative was that the finishing hole was a par 3.

What a hidden gem! Tremendous course that was just all around fun to play!
A Must Play
I travel a hour and a half to play this course. I absolutely love it and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The overall course is in great shape and the views are amazing. This course is challenging but fair. I would recommend to everyone who loves the game of golf.
A short drive for a favorite
My buddy and I have to drive about an hour or so, a short drive really for a fun, high quality course. Cost is very reasonable. Play multiple times a year. Recommend.
A true gem off the beaten path
I wonderful and well designed golf course out in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. I encourage everyone to come out and try this course
First Time!
This course was just wonderful! Well maintained, most of the holes were not just straight away so you had to plan your tee shot a bit. Just loved the lay out! Great pro shop staff too! Got a great deal on golf plus. Hope to return sometime!
Make the trip
Drive
2.5 hours to play this course.
Great layout and conditions and pace were amazing
Fun Place to Play
This place is a hidden gem. Seems to get better every time we play it. A group of us head that way from Northern Va and it's the perfect getaway. Course is in amazing condition, looks like they really care about what they do. We usually combine our trip with mountain biking. While we were there, they had really cool Oktoberfest celebration. Everyone is really friendly.
Hidden Gem
Played here a few times and it has to be in the best condition of any course I've played this year. New golf shop is really cool, staff are friendly and the carts are clean. We really enjoyed our day. if you've not played it put it on your list.
