About Bryce Resort

Bryce Resort is a ski and golf property located in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley about 110 miles from Washington D.C. There is no official lodging for the resort, which relies on directing visitors to a handful of area accommodation partners from hotel rooms to villas and cabin rentals. Golfers can play 18 holes on the mountain course which dates back to the 1960s. Lake Laura is a popular attraction after golf in the summertime and has kayak and paddleboard rentals. There are three restaurants located at Bryce Resort including a top-of-the mountain option.

Beautiful course, awesome scenery

Great location surrounded by awesome views. Course was in great shape and well taken care of. Played it with my youngest son and his friend and they both agree. I will definitely play it again.

Course not open

I made a booking to play at 8am, but the course / clubhouse was not actually open to get a cart key to play a round. No one was there to insutruct us to walk, wait or let us hit the range.

beautiful course

I have played here 3 times this year and all have been very enjoyable. Some of the greens are a little spotty but still in very good condition. The staff works very hard to keep the fairways free of leaves which is difficult to do in the fall. This is such a pretty setting and makes for a great outing.

Little pricey for that time of day , greens were in rough shape , bumpy no grass in spots . But it is a beautiful area.

Beautiful course, worth the drive

Great course with a very scenic layout. Well planned with various challenges. Only criticism is greens were recently aerated so did not putt true at all. Also first cut of rough was left too long and that made errant shots difficult to recover from. Otherwise a great time and would come back.

This course is fun to play. The back nine is very different from the front. No frills, but beautiful countryside and mountain setting.
