Spider Lake Golf Resort

Nice course out in the middle on no where large. A very nice 2 hour stroll in the woods with family who either had never or rarely played golf. Perfect course for that. Easy course to walk with only a few hills. Layout is a a surprisingly legitimate length 9 hole course with mostly wide fairways, Staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. Not severe greens good for higher handicap players. Greens were surprisingly nice, medium speed and well kept up. Fairways and rough had adequate coverage and played firm with lots of roll. Rough was good pace of play rough, easy to find/advance your ball. Few traps but they appeared to have adequate brown sand in them. Tee boxes well maintained for a course that will have alot of families and begiinners on it. All the holes were ringed with huge trees, so you needed to be straight or suffer the consequences. Would highly recommend if in the area, glad I gave this course a chance. Fun afternoon!
