Wilderness Resort

The course is an absolute blast. We got caught behind a slow group and didn’t even mind. We saw a good three dozen deer, including a few nice Bucks while we were playing.

The only disappointment we had were the range being mats only. Overall course is in great condition, but some od the fescue really needs some rain.

100% will be back.

Really enjoyed the course, being 67 I did play the gold tee’s but Enjoyed the open layout. Will play again

Beautiful course, it is just a little beat up. They probably put to many people per day though the course.

The course was well maintained and groomed. Especially for how dry the summer has been so far. I love the elevation that the course provided. Even though some would consider the price to be high, I thought the value was there. Like including range balls with the price.

Great course to golf! The tee boxes, fairways and green are well kept despite the lack of rain. Really fast greens, but a ton of fun! Would definitely golf here again.

Greens were in pretty poor shape. Several had two types of grass growing that resembled weeds. Several had bare spots and no two played alike when it came to speed.

Fairways were in pretty good shape as well as the Ladies' tee boxes.

Pace of play was awful. We waited on every hole after about the third or fourth, and it was especially long wait time on the back 9. Players behind us hit into us two or three times, but we had nowhere to go due to the groups ahead of us.

It’s a great course. Only downsides- the greens were inconsistent and bumpy. There are a lot of un-repaired divots and ball marks.

Staff was rude and accommodating the older people. Not being appreciative to a second season golfer who was having trouble. Pushing and rushing us. Not a good time

Enjoyed the courtesy of the staff from bag drop to range to starter to finish at the 19th hole. The Greens had a little winter kill and we’re burnt from the rough winter and drought of the summer heat but still in good shape. My only complaint really. Deer wandering throughout and other wildlife added to the ambiance. Looking forward to playing it again.

Layout is amazing, great views, tough greens and have to be smart about where you put yourself or miss. Thinking man’s course but generous off the tee. Average range and putting green but the putting green matched the speed of the on course greens. Greens were punched not aerated when I played but filled with sand, even with that I’d recommend this to anyone for the money. A must play if you’re in the Dells area.
